Dennis and Shannon love watching your videos, reminds me of baling hay with my family. Only thing that is different is we had to drive the tractor and wagon around and pick the bale's up by hand while my Dad was baling. Hay looks really good!!

Dennis, down the road when y'all decide to update your small square baler, do you think you may switch to a MF/Hesston inline baler? We really love ours. It makes great bales for the accumulator. I have seen many others on TH-cam that also use them. We had NH balers for decades before that MF 1840

I have a question for you in heavy hay when you rake with the double rotor center delivery rake does the hay on the bottom of the windrow get fluffed up also or just the raked hay piled on top of it ?
I’d you run the rake as narrow as it will go it rakes most of it. I usually tedd my hay the day I’m going to rake it so it doesn’t really matter never had an issue.
Its great to see you and Shannon working together Dennis, and you are good at explaining things to Shannon. Nice to see the two masseys working together. Have you noticed much difference in fuel usage between the two ? Have the Loader parts turned up yet for the 5711 ? Mike
The bigger one does use some more fuel but it’s still good around 3 gallons per hour average. I use 540e all the time. I did get the parts last week and installed them over the holiday weekend. Video will come on installing that and the fenders.
Got a question Dennis. In the spring after 1st cutting, would it work to roll a field with a roller like people do for there lawns? Help to smooth the ground and better growth of grass.

I try to average a 36in bale. I don’t sell anything to slaughters but the guy that I custom bale for sales his straw that I baled for him to slaughters. So technically those bales came from my baler but it’s not my product.
Dennis I don't know what direction the door opened but we had a tractor accident quite a few years ago locally where a child was standing just where your lad is! The door opened and the lad fell out and I'm sorry to say it didn't end well! Makes me nervous when I see your wee bit in the same place.
He’s not going to fall out even if the door was open he rides in the buddy seat with a seat belt on. Yeah he standing at the beginning of the videos because I hadn’t unfolded the seat for him yet because I wasn’t ready to go yet.

Love it. It’s been good. No problems other then that time the hydraulic hose had came loose under the frame and got caught by one of the rakes.

I’ve always heard that’s recreational tractor driving. In other words it doesn’t really do anything but burn fuel and cost time.
