Hi Nicki, (from one of your VIP book launch members 😉 and a fellow Canadian (NS)) Great video and just wanted to share again that I loved the Creative Sketchbook course and I also purchased the sketch & paint flowers ebook. I’ve always said I can’t draw, can barely draw a stick figure and I have been amazed at the sketches that I’ve been able to produce. Can’t wait to get your book. Oh, I did recently visit a local used bookstore and pickup some inexpensive hard cover books to use to make some more sketchbooks! 😊. So fun, love your classes. Have a safe trip to the UK.

Thank you for the chat. I enjoyed seeing books that inspire you. I plan on ordering your sketch and paint book. I have always loved flowers and wish I could improve when I paint them. I have taken several of your classes but know I need practice and to just enjoy myself and not worry when it doesn’t look like other students in the Facebook group. Fear often stops me from just getting started. Your creative sketchbook class helped!
Practice is so important and please don't compare yourself to others. We are all at different stages in our art journey and know that with practice, you will get there! This year I dedicated more time to work on my portrait study and I can finally see my style emerge and the ease of sketching portraits is coming more quickly these days. It's a journey and allowing yourself space and grace is a must! I'm confident you will get there!! ❤

Thank you this was interesting & informative. The Creative Sketchbook class pushed me to realize I can draw & paint. My hands are arthritic due to RA and the way you showed to hold the pencil or drawing instrument loosely really helped me. Enjoy your trip to the UK. You must be so proud of your son..
