Just watched this whole interview again, really enjoyable, nice to hear Jean-Pierre do the interview for a change, im enjoying Army of Lovers as much now as i ever have, Loving the Sexodus era. Glad to have them back, love all line ups of the band, dont really have a favourite, I'll be uploading videos from the summer shows (with comments disabled) as its alwways the same 2 negative people saying the same things on every video on here .
Army of Lovers are Pop royalty, at least in some parts of the world (like Greece where I am from)! This new album is a treat to fans & this interview is so honest, fun and candid, so it’s very appreciated to see where the band members are today! Exactly !! La Camilla IS why the band had success.. certainly not thanks to that vulgar obscene talentless "last one " just because it's "family" hahaha !!!! Good proof the combination beeing friends since always, doesn't bring talents !

Dominika is not an actress at all. Dominika has never been distinguished by the acting talent needed to support such a fake project as Army of lovers. She is empty for that. At least Michaela is a beautiful woman, although she is not cut out for the stage. La Camilla is a completely living and organic human nature. But it feels like La Camilla is a person with a very difficult character. If they weren't all so selfish there (namely Bard), then La Camilla would always be in this pop group.

But truth be told, their "performances" nowadays are cringeworthy. The spark's gone, and their new music doesn't do anything for me either. So, whether they decide to bring back La Camilla or De La Cour doesn't make a big difference to me. This band's heyday is a thing of the past, and nothing's going to change that. Now, Jean-Pierre keeping mum about their fallout with La Camilla is not exactly a shocker. If you've been following their journey, you probably know the score. Back in '91, they gave La Camilla the boot, despite their label's efforts to salvage the situation. Ended up souring their relationship with their US label, too (the US label was only interested in La Camilla and building the band around her). Then, out of the blue in '95, they welcomed her back for Les Greatest Hits. Dominika proudly claimed she persuaded Alexander to bring La Camilla back, but now she's singing a different tune. They were allegedly forced by the label to do so. Doesn't quite add up, does it? How did the label suddenly gain that much sway when they couldn't before? And let's not forget the collaborations in 2001 and 2012. Plus, Dominika forming a whole new band with La Camilla in between? Raises some eyebrows, doesn't it? Who forced her to do that? Could it be that she tried to capitalize from La Camilla's scandal with the King of Sweden, which was a current topic at the time? Seems like they were always playing a game of 'use and discard' with her. Honestly, if you're not getting along with someone, why keep bringing them back... 3, 4, 5 times? It's a head-scratcher ;-) Out of their 12 singles that charted in Sweden, 9 were with La Camilla in the line-up. It's no coincidence that their biggest hits always had her on board. Their last ever charting single was of course also with her. Same for the albums. All albums and compilations with La Camilla charted, their last two studio albums (without her) didn't. All their recent interviews in Sweden? About La Camilla. And that's the only reason why they brought her back. They don't get along? Okay, fine. I don't get along with everyone either. But the main problem here is that they used someone and don't want to admit it.

The only song that is interesting from the point of view of melody is a song in a duet with O.Polyakova. That's it. I do not understand the meaning of their appearance now (2023-2024). They have not been perceived as actors in show business for a long time. Until 2002, they were on the wave of public attention. Now their appearance can only be perceived as an attempt to send greetings to all their old and loyal fans. Like this: "We're here! We're still alive!" The rest of the audience has not needed them at all for a long time. Their train left back in the early 2000s. And La Camilla or Michaela will be in the band - it won't change anything at all, and nothing will change in this regard. I'm sorry.

(she has done nothing, and she had above all put DLC out of the band !!!) But well, yes i keep the good souvenirs of them in/of my childwood .. now, their returns and visuals are just perfectly down to date.. they're "olds" fat, ugly for Bard.. if they wanted to put their kings outfit, it had to be done long before 2024 ! "la mayonnaise prend plus" like we say in french ! oh....could be a great title for a new track hahahah !
