    Good job, keep trying!
    The right bike for the right place.
    About riding, if you're going to follow a route and you are on your own, and not confident Don't go! It's not a shame.

    Just a respectful tip from someone with 40 years experience riding both off and on road.
    Stand up. This lowers your weight to the foot pegs, lowering the center of gravity and increasing traction. Stay loose and let the bike do it's thing, only making suggestions on where you would like it to go. Most of your time in the dirt should be spent standing, only sitting to load the suspension briefly or to rest on smooth surfaces. Control the machine with clutch, throttle , brakes and tires - not feet. Feet are temporary kick stands for stopping.

    What a great place to ride!
    Oh and please don't start to blame mishaps on equipment like tires @ 12:47 - that spill was not due to the tire performance at all.
    70% is the rider. He's the only one that can adjust to situations and has the biggest potential to improve. I'd start there. :)

    Hey, just watched your video the bike looks amazing! Can you please advise what it’s like on the road? I’m looking to get a bike here in the UK and the SWM is definitely on my list. What are the service intervals like? Is it easy to service yourself

    Wow, awesome looking riding area, the SWM looks and sounds great.It's good that your practicing, I suggest checking out some vids on riding technique and body positioning, I recommend "CROSS TRAINING ENDURO SKILLS", he's an aussie and has a slow drawl but don't hold that against him, his advice is excellent.

    Hi what sort of fuel economy do you get out of the stock tank? Mirrors look good too.

    • @BeijingOffRoadAdventures

      Bogan Street Bike Gang Hi! On average I can get 110km on one tank (~7.5L) before the fuel light goes on.

    Nice Trip!What a coincidence,I have the suit and Helmet same like you! Ahaaa。How about the GPS,is it accuracy?How did you find the route?

    • @BeijingOffRoadAdventures
      @BeijingOffRoadAdventures  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ryan Xia I plotted the route on google earth by looking at the Sattelite imagery and tracing what i saw as rideable paths. The gps works well and is very accurate, it's Garmin GPSMAP 64s My only complaint is the bees, they really like fluorescent yellow so when I want to rest on some grass, they want to rest on me 😅

    Why 300 instead of 500? Price (and weight) is almost the same. Also - what tyres You have? Looks like Pirelli MT21.

    • @BeijingOffRoadAdventures
      @BeijingOffRoadAdventures  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      zepcertoxic Due to high local import taxes (China) on bigger engines, the price difference between the 300 and 500 was over 1500usd and I couldn't really afford it at the time but really wanted a bike. The tires are in fact MT21's much better on the tarmac then the stock Michelin Competition IV, good eye!

      So what if the rs500 is $400 more than rs300? Will you choose it, and why? :)

    Nice Video.Watch for a guy that have same hobby to ride together,i f you crash and you stuck under your bike no one can help you.I think when you try second hillclimb you are not so fast in the beginning than at first climb. (speed stabalized) because this you hit the rocks to slow and wiggel and lost traction. I like the Pirelli rally Cross because it give nice traction offroad but dont wear out so fast than a soft motocross tire.You can try different air pressure (lower)for better traction ,but refilll on the road.

    • @BeijingOffRoadAdventures
      @BeijingOffRoadAdventures  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for your feedback! I've tried running low pressure and just like you said the traction is much better :)
