I have this and Missoni Wave and I really enjoy them both. For the price they punch way above their weight. Both are a great blind buy. Awesome video 👏
I saw someone on Fragrantica mention the Fierce DNA, and I agree. It has a subtle resemblance. I have heard Platinum Egoiste is similar to Fierce but haven't gotten my nose on it.
The synthetic fruitiness is what originally put me off of this one. Eventually, the lavender came to the rescue and now I enjoy it in moderation. I really do like the look of the bottle though. Very ergonomic, with a sleek colour palette. And that super strong magnetic cap of course. 😄 Great review Trevor and I'm digging the thumbnails!

Have been playing around with the thumbnail game a bit, for the individual reviews I try to capture and convey some of the smell in painting a picture for each to help push the review a pit more! Means a lot to get feedback on them! And yeah totally agree with initially being put off by the synthetics too but like you said the aromatics kick in during the wear and make it really enjoyable!
Have only smelled the edt from Bleu de Chanel line so can't speak on the parfum, but I think Bleu de Chanel is a bit more versatile than Egoiste but feel Platinum Egoiste is more elegant.
Dylan Blue I find much more sweet tonka bean and fruity fig both have a somewhat ambroxon feel but other than that fairly distinct from one another yet both compliment pulling. I prefer the Missoni however!
I'd go GIT if you're looking for versatility and Reflection if you're looking for something of a more formal/special occasions niche smell. If I could only pick one for my collection though I'd go with Green Irish Tweed!
