  • Often said to be one of the best alternatives to the famous Bleu de Chanel, I had to check this one out. What I found surprised me...

    I was not a big fan but after smelling my sample again I actually enjoy it. I ended up ordering a bottle and comes tomorrow.

      Funny how scents can grow on us. Glad you like it.

    I got a bottle today. I have never smelled Bleu de chanel but I must say it is very similar to Drakkar Noir. I sprayed both scents on me. For me they are almost the same. Missoni is slightly more soapier and Drakkar Noir is slightly more herbal and minimally spicier.

      Perfectly accurate comparison.
      In line with the other aromatic Fougères I compare this to in the video.

    It's a lovely fragrance. It's true that it has a barbershop vibe which I like. The Missoni Wave is also really great.

      @sehtxhomonikka9474 Wave in my opinion is much better! It's a really good fragrance. This one I honestly don't like it that much. The Bleu de Chanel is better. I originally liked that Missoni Parfum but ended up not using it much. Something off in it to my nose.

    Just shows how subjective fragrance is. I love Missoni PH. It does remind me of BDC, not a clone but the same vibe. I personally would never describe this one as a barbershop, more of an easy wear blue frag!

    I'm heading down to Florida soon for college and would like to pick up some fragrances I can wear around campus/the surrounding downtown area. Do you think this would perform well in the hot, humid climate of Florida, or would Missoni Wave be a more suitable alternative for the environment? Thanks and great review!

    • @realscentreview
      @realscentreview  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Both are great. Wave is a bit more youthful with its creamy orange and woods while Pour Homme has kind of a barbershop vibe to it with its aromatics and floral musks.

    I’m a teenager that likes blue fragrances. I like bleu de Chanel, but this sounds almost too mature. Would this be a bad fragrance for me

      In my opinion, this is definitely more similar to something like Drakkar Noir and Chanel Platinum Egoiste.
      If you can't manage to sample the Missoni before buying, I bet you it'll be quite easy to sample some Drakkar Noir.
      If you like that, you'll like the Missoni.

      @@realscentreview The current Drakkar has been reformulated a few times, the musk profile at the base is not the same smells cheaper and scratchy. it no longer has that smooth, woody, oaky, vanilla shaving soap smell in the base grounding it down.

    Does this still have an overall “blue” type of vibe like most of the patchouli based fragrances?

    • @realscentreview
      @realscentreview  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I go very in depth in the video about all aspects of the fragrance. Patchouli doesn't have a "blue" vibe at all

    I find this to be quite disappointing. Doesn't remind me of bleu de chanel remotely & it seems to me , Missoni are similar to Brioni in so much as they've spent their money on the beautiful bottles & not really bothered muxh with rhe fragrance.

      My teenager likes star men, which is a dupe of Mueller a-men..... he put it on before school one day and he was sent home..... so yeah some fragrances do have an age😂.... they thought he had a really good cologne on and he was trying to cover up his drinking of alcohol ( which he doesn't do).... 😂 anyways just thought I'd put it out there that there is somewhat of a barrier between fragrances for age groups

    Love bdc edt, dont love the edp, dont love this, really dont like wave, just not a fan of the blue notes in fragrances they smell ike hand soap to me.. smells like you washed your hands and forgot to rinse the soap off properly like some loser guy hoh

      I totally agree with the Bleu EDT preference - I think that's the best fragrance of that line and I for one don't fully understand the hype surrounding the other two in that line. But to each their own.
      I wish they smelled more like soap on my skin! I love soapy accords but most fragrances with soapy accords are too weak for my tastes

    • @veganchiefwarrior6444
      @veganchiefwarrior6444 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@realscentreview not many people agree that the EDT is the best strangely, I don't spray fragrances directly on my skin cause I believe there are edc's (endocrine disrupters) in fragrances and whatever goes on your skin is absorbed into your bloodstream but I'm also not a fool to not understand that most of the obsorbtion of bad chemicals is probably just from smelling them lol I just try to minimise as much as possible, but yea U like the soapy smells huh, explains why U like Sauvage, I find the EDP to be extra soapy, not sure why I don't like smelling like soap but I also don't like smelling like toilette fresheners like Jimmy Choo man intense or chlorine like Missoni wave Versace pour Homme etc, I'm too fussy.. I sample and wear a new fragrance every day, Ive found very few I like, the ones i do like are CK all.. BDC EDT.. aventus.. and I feel like le male le parfum smells really nice for an hour or so and then I get sickly of it 😄
