Well at least it still has a simple way of it where if the disc number discs region number Will be compared with the consuls and if they are not the same then it just plays a bit of something to creep you out instead of whatever this thing worked on that had effort put into it Consol anti-piracy has a bit more effort put into it well game ones they have people who don’t give effort and people people actually put out effort but at least some games give you the software terminated screen console maybe modded sense mod chips do a little bit too much they basically tell it at any time which is weakness but I think the comments getting a bit too long
Spyro 3 has a rather clever anti-piracy too where if it somehow bypasses the "CONSOLE MAY BE MODIFIED" screen, the game will constantly remind you that you're playing a pirated copy of the game.
Very well done I could actually see this popping up on some persons screen. The static makes it seems like I’m actually playing a ps1 on a old tv very well done

I'm honestly surprised you added a Dutch Anti-Piracy message in here. But since I know the PS2 had a Dutch translation, maybe the PS1 had one too? Either way it makes me smile.
Of course if you make it from scratch technically it isn't pirating it's just manufacturing your own console and since it's yours if you copy the games one by one by yourself then you have it for free you just have to work hard and it'll be legal right? Or do you just have to talk to Sony about it? See what I mean? That's all.
FPGAs and Emulation are technically 100% legal as long as you're sourcing your own disc images legally (IE: You're ripping them yourself). Though I could totally see PS1-era Sony trying to convince everyone they weren't. Late in the PS1's life cycle a company called Bleem made commercial PS1 emulators, one on PC and even one that worked on the Dreamcast, but both required legal PS1 discs to operate. Bleem eventually won their court case, and the precedent was set that emulation was legal. It wasn't enough to save the company, though, the lengthy court battle bled them dry financially, so Sony still technically won in a scummy way only the rich can, but what matters is that they lost the war against emulation.

WELL I AM FREAKIN LUCKY THAT I CAN MOD MY MICROSOFT WINDOWS ACER PREDATOR GAMING PC RIGHT GUYS?
Wait so does that mean if you cell modified consoles and people started playing games on it they would get arrested even though they are innocent?
If this were real, then good lord... nobody would ever want to mod their PS1s or play pirated game ever. In fact, I would be pretty worried.

My theory on what would really happen, knowing how the Ps1 handles errors:
*UNHOLY SCREECHING FROM THE CONSOLE*
CONSOLE MAY HAVE BEEN MODIFIED
That’s actually what happens. Look up the track “personified fear”
@@unluckybystander7555 Yep, I have.
