Hi there Jennifer! LOVE these stamp sets & all the beautiful blues & greens in the alcohol inks, the cards are fabulous (as usual), & all the tips & techniques you shared are ALWAYS appreciated!!!! Can’t wait to give these all a try!!! As always, thanks for sharing your time & talent with us!!!
Great blast from my childhood with the way you created the backgrounds, using those inks you got some fantastic effects. Like the fact that you never let anything go to waste, great cards.
All the cards are FANTASTIC! I create a similar background by using shaving cream and food coloring. It looks cool, and smells good too. Thanks for sharing Jennifer💟💟💟
Thank you again for showing these wonderful backgrounds using alcohol inks in water. I've seen the marbling kits before but this looks much easier. I love this look for sky and water interest.
Jennifer, You know how much I love my alcohol inks. NO FIRE!!! I had never thought of mixing Perfect Pearls with alcohol inks. I love all the techniques. Thanks for sharing. I just found my whole set of Nuvo Drops. YAY!! after the big craft room cleanup while I was in skilled nursing. I do love the ocean and water so this is a real winner. Big Hugs to Lila and I hope Santa was extra good to her. Of course he was.
Welcome back Jennifer! I'm sure I'm not the only one that missed you! I hope your back is feeling much better. Love this tech--thanks so much for sharing!
this was so great ! it is beautiful i am just starting this type of crafting,if not for you i would be lost and would not know what to use for what, thanks so much ! i am not good at finding coupons and am on a fixed income and disabled and have cancer so i would appreciate any help from any one about all these places to get coupons. please keep shwing us all the great ideas could not do it without you. your voice is calming to me and that is why i fing your website so much better. Jennifer! Ohhhhhhhhhh my! Those cards are so darling! I love each one of them, they are simply gorgeous and they have so many details! Thank you so much for teaching us, I really enjoy your videos. Have a great year Jennifer! LOVE!
All new technique to me! I didn't know you could use Alcohol Inks with water! It looks like a lot of fun and I am going to try it. I love the marble backgrounds.
Great cards. The marveling technique is amazing. I have to say, I wasn’t drawn to these stamp sets. I liked them a lot, just not sure if they would fit in with the people I send cards too. I think you convinced me otherwise. I love everyone of them! Tanks so much for sharing.
If this a return to 'old' techniques from the nineties then I, for one, am very pleased as I didn't start crafting until I retired so I have techniques to catch up on. I have not come across this method before and look forward to trying it.
Oh no, I can predict some more craft supplies in my future! Those wave cutouts are awesome....love those sequins and yup, I'm going to have to get lots of that alcohol ink now ☺
Thank you Jennifer for another great video. I bought alcohol inks a few years ago when I first started card making. I only used them a couple of times. I will get them out again and try the techniques you have showed us. I love how you come up with new ideas to get the most out of the supplies that we have already!
I agree. She made the most perfect cards. Anytime there is a stamp set I think yeah I don't NEED that. She comes along with s video that makes me totally change my mind.
+Jennifer McGuire Ink ...WOW!!! Jennifer...these cards are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! You are such an incredibly talented paper-crafter and your tutorials are always so inspiring!!! I absolutely LOVE this A.I. technique. I've never seen this done before....but it sure has a WOW factor!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!! All the best to you in 2018!! ☺
this is great! i work at paper source and we do water marbling as a workshop/class. when we do it we just lay the paper on top of the water for a second and lift it up. it doesn't take too long to dry and there's more ink left behind in the water for more pieces :)
Franchesca Pierre I had seen it like that before but forgotten about it. I think I like her way more as the back gets coated too. And I feel like it gets chance to move more as you slide it in the water.
Oh my goodness, this is such a fantastic idea! I never thought to do it, so I'm very thankful you shared this idea. Your cards are beautiful, as always.
I held my breath each time you used the black Nuvo drops for the eyes because I've messed up several cards doing that. :) I think until my Nuvo drop kung-fu is strong, I should probably drop before coloring. Hmmm...hey...never thought of that until I started typing. There's something very serene about this set of cards. I love what you did with the bird. Your Copic color choices are beautiful!
Jenn: You’re starting the year out with a bang!!! Very creative and inspiring! Absolutely adorable cards!!! I am thinking of blues, magenta and purples inks, marbled with my December Hero Arts Arabian Nights Card Kit. Thank you, so very much!
Thanks for sharing this alcohol ink marbling technique, Jennifer. I recently purchased some of these inks but haven't used them yet. I think this technique will be how I begin.
It is years since I did this with my kids. They are all lovely but I really love the more pastel colours.... time to get my alcohol inks out . Thanks xx
Thanks Jennifer, this is another of your fantastic video tutorials which is jammed packed with ideas, demonstrations, techniques, tips and finished projects. Something that is not easily done in a video tutorial so thank you for all the effort and time you put into these. :O)
I L.O.V.E. these cards. Some time ago my grandbabies and I made some fun backgrounds similar to these and I have been wondering what to do with them....here's my answer! I love this square die Jennifer and am going to order it pronto. Your cards are both darling and fun and if these sweet stamp sets disappear, check Lila's room...haha. (My "Lila" is my daughter Katie; she was always borrowing crafty goodies while growing up.) Thanks so much for sharing and I hope you've had a wonderful weekend during this cold-snap. ~HUGS~ #kindnessmatters
LOVE THESE!! Going to try this today. Bummed though - Ellen Hutson is already out of the die. Please beg her to get more!! Thank you for the technique - looking forward to playing with inks today!
This technique reminds me of water-marbling for nails which I really suck at. I bet this is a lot easier and a lot harder to mess up. I'll have to give it a try.
I've seen the "float on top" method, but never the "slide under the surface" maneuver. I like that the slide seems less finicky and also gives two sides to choose from.
Now I really HAVE to do something with these alcohol inks I recently purchased. I watched your other videos and bought them. But just tucked the idea aside. You sooooo motivate me to do something with them. Thanks so much for explaining all the details. I'm gonna use some Perfect Pearls, too... gotta try it all, ya know :-)
Jennifer, you come up with most incredible ideas! Thank you you for sharing.
You are so welcome!
You created what God gave us . The beautiful Earth , the beautiful water and it is spectacular with what you did on those cards. thank you
Lovely cards Jennifer, you never disappoint, all your videos are great, thanks.

I can't decide which is more fantastic, the card or the whale on the lighter marble background. These are just stunning.
Magnificent bath of precious paint mixture for a very beautiful cards. THANKS! Jennifer

Wow Jennifer! Beautiful cards. The background in the first polar bear card looks like the Northern Lights. Gorgeous. You are so talented.
Norah Jarman I thought it looked like an ice burg. Kind of cool that these backgrounds can be interpreted in different ways.
I agree Norah!! The first dip is more vibrant, so looks like the Northern Lights, the second dip is paler, so is more like a blue sky. So beautiful!
I really enjoyed watching this video and loved all your cards!!!
I love this idea. I’m going to try this with watercolor paper. Thank you for sharing.
I can't wait to try this! Thanks for the inspiration Jennifer!

Absolutely Beautiful!!!
Love this technique..gonna check out your other videos on alcohol inks. I had no idea they were so easy to work with.
I've seen the "float on top" method, but never the "slide under the surface" maneuver. I like that the slide seems less finicky and also gives two sides to choose from.
How in the world do you think of all this stuff???!!?? The negative die/puzzle piecing....wow.....TFS again!
Now I really HAVE to do something with these alcohol inks I recently purchased. I watched your other videos and bought them. But just tucked the idea aside.
