I opened for Andy Stott in 2015 - can confirm he’s insanely nice, genuine, hilarious and overall a great person to be around which made me admire his music even more!
Was that in Baltimore? I was there also and was able to speak to him for a bit and a great guy. His set was amazing! Really enjoyed your set as too if that was you!
Insane combo. Came across this while looking for interviews with Andy and with ambient, fourth world, wonky, experimental uk bass artists in general. What a collab.
YES! I was just thinking about these Moog Soundlab videos! Great to see them come back! Please get Alan Palomo here, as he's just releasing a new album!
Yes very nice music needs to go on and move in to the future and synths is the what will take it there ,, when Iw as young I listen to Gary Wright ,, and Patrick Cowley , The bass in BeeGee music ,,, it was 1976 ,, I have never played a moog in my life ,, never touched one ,, I would like to ,,, maybe some day ,, Loved this video ,, sounded amazing and beautiful video ,,, great sound and visuals ,,,
I will never not smash like on anything Andy Stott. There's nothing quite like his sludgy bone-crushing techno. Highly suggest his collab album Drop The Vowels with Miles Whittaker from Demdike Stare if you're ever on a content draught. Very reminiscent of We Stay Together and Passed Me By.

This has become a kind of "solidified" genre unto itself. "Electronic music." (Even within so called "art" music.) I can sort of predict it all before it happens. The notion of the "surprise" applies always/already in art.

Excellent,. Love it. Reminds me of a distorted Andrea Parker.

Hi! Great video. I'm curious about the stands supporting the Moog synths. Can you tell me what brand they are? Thanks!

Wow, a surprising number of downvotes for this one... haters gonna hate.
But why
Funny, I don’t see one negative downvote.
TH-cam hides downvotes for the last couple of years now. Only people who can see the downvotes are the channel owners.
@@thedeepblueskys Nor me. I didn't think they were visible anymore, only to the makers themselves

Great work! For those of you that don’t like it, it’s called clicking on a different video…
