What a wonderful interview. I love hearing all these stories of yesterday's stars & how things have changed because I love the movies of that era & what an amazing & elegant woman at her age she is so interesting to listen to. Thank you may we have more of all these fabulous people they are so different to the celebraties of today, at least I think so. 🌻
Thank you so much Rita! I thought Nancy was fascinating and believe I would love to interview any stars that are still alive from that era, we will see....
So much class and beauty. My mother and Nancy are the same age. Such a wonderful blessing that both are doing so well. I love hearing stories from my Mom, so hearing from Nancy was a similar treat for me.
Wow, at 94 Nancy is an inspiration in every way! I only know her from the Disney films... I LOVE those films, and Nancy was WONDERFUL in them! Another great interview!!
OMG, I'm ordering her book today!!!! What a fascinating woman & her stories are incredible! Best of all, she comes off like a nice, kind, down to earth individual which I love. No wonder why Walt Disney cast her in Pollyanna & The Absent Minded Professor & sequel. She's had an amazing life (94, who knew??) & it's nice to see she's doing well. Thank you so much for sharing! A fun time had by all! 😁
My pleasure! Good call, I really enjoyed Nancy's book, honestly it is unbelievable the people she has been around. I hope we all look and have her energy at 94!
A wonderful interview, if you ever have a chance to watch it, Smith! Is definitely worth a watch a very moving poignant underrated film. Nancy has some great scenes with Glenn Ford as well.
Wow excited to watch this. Huge fan of her work! Loved her in my favorite movie as a child Pollyanna... And thought she did an amazing job in sunset blvd
Wow...I know everyone is saying it, but yeah WOW. I love her classy responses, where she could have said whatever she wanted. I also love "you have to read the book!" Karl and I both said at the same time, there is no way she is 94!!! lol. Born in 1960 myself I didn't know what Sunset Boulevard was. Going to have to check that out. John you did a great job as always. How long have you been interviewing people? You must have quite the back log of stories yourself. I'm sure not everything you talk about is shown. Of all your interviews what has been your most memorable? Pinch me...I'm talking to....? Just curious :)
Thanks Jamie! Nancy is an amazing woman and has just kept going. I think it will enjoy Sunset Boulevard, it is a classic and so unique as a lot of the actors in the film were really dealing with what their characters are dealing with at that time. I have been interviewing for my show for about two years but interviewing people for over 20 years. As far as interviews that I have felt pinch me I would say Paul Michael Glaser, Barbara Eden, Donna Mills (whose episode hasn't been released yet) and definitely Henry Winkler. On the other hand, I get a thrill from all the guests on channel or honestly I wouldn't interview them:)
Oh my gosh John I hadn't listened to the interview yet and I didn't realize you were from Milwaukee too! What a small world. I grew up in California and I worked in the entertainment industry for a private company and then for Warner Brothers delivering scripts and other things to actors, producers, etc. from 1989 to 1994. I saw a lot of things and met a lot of people and it was a lot of fun!
@@janicehildenbrand8017 That is pretty wild. The entertainment industry definitely has magic and fun along with all t😀he insanity that is for sure. I have worked in many of the studios at different times so who knows we might have been passing each other and didn't even know it.

That is so cool and boy I love the Sydney Opera House as well!

So glad it also made you think of your mother, Nancy certainly exudes class and her stories just take you back😀

Thanks Chris and I will definitely check out Smith. I always loved Glenn Ford, a natural. His son Peter wrote a great book on him as well.

My mom was the same age as Nancy's older sister and they grew up in the same neighborhood in Milwaukee, WI.
That is a fun coincidence Janice!

The car was made for Peggy Hopkins Joyce, who is worth looking into for her life. In many ways she is the prototype for Kim Kardashian.
Thanks I love additional info like yours, so interesting😀
