What do you do for going to the toilet and having a proper wash like a shower? The longer wheel base sprinters you can fit bathrooms in, would of made more sense when there’s no services stations for miles when in mountainous areas.
I have a winter van as well. I would love to see a follow up video after you have used the van for a few seasons. Any things you figured out, features you added, or removed? I am always looking for good ideas for our van and there is not much content for true ski/snowboard vans.

I prefer Propex propane furnaces, and I just doubled up with 13,000btu for those subzero nights. Like that you installed respectible solar. I did add a 20amp dc to dc charger for those cloudy short days to charge on the drive. You need a low watt microwave!-')

When I decide to publish has absolutely nothing to do with sponsors. This production is entirely run by me and all decisions are mine. With that, I decided to not publish in late spring early summer to give me more time to build a higher quality final product so that it’s even better when it’s released. Being on the road skiing these lines while editing and publishing is insanely taxing and Year 1 almost burned me out from it forever. So now I got more time to focus on the skiing, then the editing and publishing

nice video. A van builder cautioned me against buying a diesel van bc i live in ohio, which really is not that cold. He mentioned engine seizing, etc... My thought is, there are 1000,s of diesel pick up trucks in ohio. Glow plugs etc... Have you had any issues with a diesel vehicle in the mountains? My other question is about water or toilet freezing, say when you leave the van for a day of skiing. Any issues with this? Thank you -
I have had zero issues with the diesel and cold. My old 2002 7.3 Ford had issues as did lots of old diesels but my feeling is modern tech has made cold and diesels far less of an issue. Modern compression + modern glow plugs seem to have solved a lot of issues. Sure you can still get fuel gelling but that's only at -30 degree temps which we rarely get in lower 48
Poorly researched video when it comes to the van chassis. The engine in this van is a V6, not a straight 6. Also, this 2019 van is a true 4x4 with a high/low transfer case. Only the 2021 and later Sprinters are switching to AWD without a transfer case.

Gas is easier to cook with I find. Induction can be awesome but wanted this specific dometic sink / stove combo for space saving and it was propane.
