When I was a teenager we took the porch off our house. When the builders removed the roof they found a wasp nest that FILLED the whole cavity. Once we were sure it was empty we removed it, in as few pieces as possible. it filled two very big wheelbarrows. Have to say, once I got over the fear, it was fascinating inside! They have internal floors with pillar structures and all sorts - terrifying but amazing haha. Excited to see how it the renovations all come together 💕
Hoping all is well! It seems like a stressfull time. Our first renovation we lived in it the whole time at it was a full on construction sites with a makeshift kitchen for 12months!! Best of luck x
Your house is coming along nicely and will be lovely once it's all finished. A pity you might not be living there a long time, especially as you are making it your own. I'm sure you'll miss your manchester apartment- that view 😮 but at least you'll have a garden where Rue can run around. I cant believe you'll be moving within 3 weeks! We’re currently living in a renovation and one that we’re doing all ourselves whilst working full time, so the only real progress is on the weekends! So I wouldn’t worry about your situation really 😅

my parents and i just moved into a 1742 cottage and honestly its one of the most stressful things ive ever been through, so many GIANT spiders and spider nests its insane sometimes i cant sleep because of it, thankfully were nearly finished with the living room therefore we can just shut the doors and stay in that room and feel comfortable hahaha
Renovations are so stressful. I’m literally sitting here now eating lunch with the noise of workmen overhead as my Bathroom has been completely ripped out !!! All worth it in the end though, and your kitchen looks like it’s going to be lovely bright and open. Rue must be thinking “ what the hell is going on lately”.. The pets feel it so much when there adult is stressed. X
Kenny is a footballer, so maybe he has been offered a job with another team somewhere else, different country even. That's what I've been thinking but I could be wrong.
Is the moving due to Kennys job? That must be a hard aspect of being in that world! but challenges make life interesting and we are all with you for the ride 💖
Ah you will figure it out. Just be careful of shady contractors who take your deposit and never show up. Problem is really bad in New England Mass USA but UK might be more honest.

Renovations have that ebb and flow - but in the end when you see your "New" space it's all worth going through.
