Progression has always been waaaaaaay to easy in these games. by year 3 your roster is full of 99 overalls even if you are a coach for Georgia Tech. Wish they would have it to where 5-stars can crash out from legal , mental and personal issues. Or simply make a 5 star a bust. Its boring af always getting top tiers ending up 100% of what they were scouted in highschool. wish they would add some probability of failure thats out of your control like in real life. but we are getting NCAA 14' witha new coat of paint, and it will sell like crazy

@@dudethatstrippy5209 I’m starting with a rebuild of the University of Florida to get a feel of the game. Then I’ll go for a more challenging school like Indiana and then finally Kennesaw state. I have names for my coaches, but I’m back and forth on a couple of them.

That’s just 1 I came up with lmao. I have ideas for other dynasties as coordinators and 5 different road to glory stories. It’s been a long few weeks lmao
I love the recruiting in the game as much as playing the game. It’s an addicting loop of trying to find that player with awesome perks and stats that’s randomly generated.
It’s so awesome. Even 7 years from now we’ll be able to play as every class is different

The only thing i worry about is the amount of impact + players are available each year and how much they develop in the offseason.
One of my main gripes with NCAA 14 dynasty is that most of your players upgraded to 90+ overalls by their senior year. I think this dev team is the most competent I've seen in my life, and that they will have teams properly balanced in years 4+ of dynasty
Same, judging by the team overall reveals it looks like we shouldn't end up seeing a bunch of 99s across the board. Hopefully the ratings reveal later this week reflect that as well, same with the rate recruits improve over the dynasty

I can see the meta already being starting as a motivator then going into recruiting. Allowing you to improve quicker early and help in recruiting as a winning team, also building depth and then going into recruiting to bring in top players once you get some points in that tree to get you over that hump to be one of the top teams, then building that technician tree late to keep you at the top. Then investing the rest in the 2nd level trees and the ones outside the first loops.

What you didn’t know. Coach points are one and done you can’t change or modify what you buy in coach points. You max out at lvl 50 and get 10 coins a lvl so you get 500 coins and you have to purchase tiers you want to buy into, strategist is by far the best option because recruiting is all based on pipelines, strategist will help your 2* lineman fight off a 5* D lineman. All second tier items in the normal coaching archetypes have 4 levels and cost 8 a piece so to make out the second tier would take 256 coins from you. Over half. Not to mention you still haven’t thought about your program developer or ceo tiers, do one or the other don’t do both.

When u click on a player on your roster and look at their upgrades what are those S coins at the top right and how do we get those

That’s how you would level up if you were to do a Road to Glory I’d imagine. Same menu, but inaccessible since you are a coach. Same reason you can be a coordinator for your dynasty, and you can’t upgrade your other coordinator or head coach yourself.
I have a 72 overall freshman qb at start of szn . I’m in like week 8 he’s already went up to a 76 & he has just a normal development. He is balling out tho so maybe that’s why he’s going up so fast

Wild how competion makes everything better. Even though its the same company this team doesn't want to be associated with Maddens failures and show it. Madden has no choice but to step it up now.
There is an option in the dynasty mode settings to edit player ratings, it says that specifically but it doesn't work. The EA message boards are zero help, it's like the devs know the issue but are doing everything they can not to address it.
Great video but did the person in the beginning have the motivator stuff maxed out? It helps off season training.

I noticed in ‘14 it was only QB’s, kickers/punters and center who seemed to progress during the season.

Yea I was using UAB and recruited this 3 star athlete w 95 throw power n 95 speed and I won the heisman with him and he only went up 3 overall

Anyone know if players heights or more importantly weights can change with progression. Like if you recruit a 235lb Edge rusher could he bulk to 270lbs by his junior/senior season. Or a TE that slims down to gain pace and play receiver?
Do generated players gain weight in the off-season like past games? I’m into my second year of dynasty and no one bulked up in the off-season?

What I'm curious to know is if like the older games you could save the draft class and import it to Madden of that same year. I liked doing that with players that i created

@davidcoylejr.3967 I'm in my 6th season apparently you don't they need to adopt maddens upgrade system because I'm getting cheated out of draftable prospects
For running backs do you have a choice of which skill group to upgrade or is it random?
Not sure if it is based on something like a player 'archetype', the way we use the player, or if we can just choose. Hopefully we learn more about the specifics this week
As far as the physical traits, am I to understand that we have to upgrade those on each player one by one? or is it an automatic thing?
The deep dive says players automatically progress their attributes & physical abilities, but when they talk about the skill groups it does muddy the waters a bit. I think it is just to explain the method that progression occurs in.

Wait, if you can’t export to Madden 25, how do you get players drafted inthe first three rounds? This talks a lot about NFL players but this doesn’t work in tandem?
It will likely just generate a round based on performance and tie that all in to the 'Pro Potential' school grade. Hopefully they sort it for the next game - although it did save me from having to buy the Madden bundle
I'm guessing same way as Ncaa 14 did with the madden 25 back then if you didn't export. It used a simulation draft and told you how many players off your teams got drafted in each round.

You don’t
You have to do the motivator skill tree buddy. They only upgrade in the off season after. Right after you do the position changes option, the next week they upgrade automatically for you. I did my motivator skill tree, picked up nyck harbor in the transfer portal and made him a TE. He graduated with a 93 overall in went in round one in the draft

No player creation and you can only edit the overalls of certain players. In assuming the ones that opted out

So can you edit the player’s ratings in this game? Because I know some people that are super busy and would just like to play a game without having to worry about anything else. So can you edit ratings after players are committed to your school?

I think in dynasty not in regular play. Can't even edit names but I think you can make a team and players. Check out Eric Rayweather too
I'm ok with not being able to edit player names and appearances but as long we can edit player ratings I'm good. Cuz I just want to take the crummiest school, but turn just the QB into an absolute demigod right at week 1 and see if he can singlehandely win game

Game play looks like Madden....the whole reason NCAA games were good was because the gameplay was nothing like madden. The scriptedness and less skill based games now a days😢
14 was on the same engine as madden 25… this game will be on the same engine as the new madden 25 lol great name btw but that’s just how it is there’s gonna be similarities
