Appreciate your videos. New to Garmin Livescope and don't get out nearly enough to be a pro. Your videos help me commit to things things like upgrades. Keep up the good work. Tight lines!
new update finally fixed my shallow water issue I was having since the last 2 updates but now.. once in awhile I will lose my forward distance option when I use my gps map remote lol. I can live with that since I can still change the distance in the menu option.
I LOVE your videos! This question nhas something to do with set up. I was wondering about the cone angles. In forward mode I understand the 135 degrees top to bottom and the 20 degree width. For purpose of mounting two lvs34 in the forward mode, (side by side) can i position them in such a manner to avoid overlap and obtain a 40 degree view? I'm not sure if one side of the 20 degree cone is "flatter" than the other so that I might position both transducers side by side and parallel. If not can I mount them on my trolling motor shaft (in the forward position), slightly pointing left and right respectively to avoid overlap and get my 40 degree forward view? Thank you.
I am fairly new to livescope. U mentioned the active captain. Just wondering what u need or use that for if u are doing your updates with sd cards? I've had my livescope since november and haven't done any updates.
Randy - great content! Do you think Garmin has released any Echomap updates that specifically improve the LVS34 yet? Do you think Garmin can & will produce updates JUST for the LVS34? or will they always make sure the LVS32 is included?

Good stuff, cant wait till later this week to give it a try… thanks for your input on this new update!!!
Hope update solves my Focus issue(bottom not in line). Thx Randy for checking and testing
One addition to my scenario below, i am using two screens, two black boxes, and two livescope transducers on the trolling motor

Do you see Garmin ever releasing a "lens" accessory for the LVS32/34 transducers like they recently did with the PS22-IF transducer?
I don’t know of this lens accessory. I’ll have to check that out

Randy if I update, but later decide I want to go back to 2.57 on the black box only, can this be easily done?
@@danayo8852 if you have it on your computer or on a card it’s easy

The updates are specific to any transducer. They are just for the box
