If you steam wash the silver rollers that the plastic goes through it should fix the tearing plastic issue. The build up of melted plastic at the ends causes the rolls not to finish out properly.
Had my first outing with a fusion 4 yesterday, ran so well it took the fun out of baling, had to let a few role down the hill to create a bit of excitement
New subscriber of just a couple of months and first time commenting. Look forward to your vids. I grew up on a wheat and sheep farm in Western Australia and love watching different farming videos, especially ones with cattle, silage etc.
Thank you, farmer Phil, for the bailing video, and hopefully, your cold gets better soon. I must say the weather there in Ireland is pretty good and it's nice to see you're enjoying it too. Take care and have a great weekend 😊
🌾🔥 That would be an epic showdown! It would be so intriguing to witness a head-to-head comparison between the Fusion 4 and the Kvernaland fast bale. Both machines have their unique features and capabilities. I wonder which one would come out on top in terms of efficiency, speed, and overall performance. Can't wait to see such a thrilling demonstration! Keep pushing the limits! 💪🌱
Good to see mac hale going again...the cattle are checking next winters feed Looking forward to seeing the Phils on Sunday 4 June at Longford show Patrick 135....Ztr 8111
I would really like to see Liv do a video on the small animals and poultry and maybe some garden preparations if possible or anything else she wants to talk about.
hey phil great video and also the way you do your video description is class veery detailed and very well worded!! if i can get my channel half as good as your channel ill be doing ok!
Nervous Norma is a bit crazy. Lucky you weren’t injured, always worries me when they throw their head around. Looks like good silage. Will definitely be better than the feed you gave out this year. 72 bales is nothing to sneeze at. When you get rain can you send it down to Western Australia, we need it for our winter crops. Ps bring back the Metallica shirt. 😜
For the plastic breaking check the ends of your role see if there badly bet up if they are try change out the plastic cones and bearings I seen it in a wrapper where it was causing it to break and deform the role
Goodman phil, nice bailing outfit you have there, 7618 good addition too fleet, alot bales put through the fusion 2, pity your rake is giving trouble, maybe there is samaz demo rake on the way, good your help in rory is working out, keep videos coming
Impressive numbers' of bales on the old girl :) A new rake would be nice, I do think the new Claas rakes is better than the old ones, but there is a lot of good rakes on the market as well :) I would'nt be surprised to see a Samaz rake! :)
You dont have a head cold..im 38. Last year i thought i had a head cold i cudnt shake. Cant rem if i had 1 sporadically in year's previous. But this year i have it again. Im a blocklayer and a farmer. So always outside and we NEVER get hay fever. But i think we may. Im sure now that's what im having. Thats what i think ur developing now too.
Brilliant vid Phil learn something everyday ie building pressure before you start any ideas Phil or anyone my fusion 2 doesn't throw out the bale when net knife drops I've to to press the lift chamber button in auto and away she goes not much to complain about I know but annoying Thanks
If the phone in the pit wasn't drove on what's to say be working perfect if ya find it . Could be a few brown notes stuck the back of it with the cards 😂😂😂
In the netherlands 90% of rakes are Claas and we have a 2900 and never lost an arm and almost never brakes a tine. wierd that you're having problems with it
On a mchale 991 wrapper last year, sometimes she'd wrap up the last of the rolls like that only a couple turns left in it but she'd do it. Wouldn't mind that but when u have to change the wrap for one ..cking bale its the worst
We have an 880 rake like yours and it’s a rotten cunt for loosening arms , ours breaks the end off in at the rotor and those bloomen arms are €110 in Kelly’s of Borris which is the closest class dealer to us , we also have a fusion 2 same as yours ,they are a great baler , we drive it with a new Holland 7040

@@FARMERPHIL3690 yea I do the same. The time you buy the joint an whatever else you need the new shaft isn’t that much dearer. New samasz rake coming on demo? Be nice to see what there like
Would be amazing if you could get a fusion 4 and a kvernaland fast bale on demo at the same time and do a head to head with them
We are home now and going to settle with our favourite farmers in the world.Happy Sunday.Great video and great videos.Good luck 🍀 🐷🐐🐐🇮🇪🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷☮️🐷🐐🐐
That 7718 is a mighty piece of kit. Great to have the extra help this year.
You guys have a lot going on during the baling season. Thanks for your explaining everything for us that are not farmers.

Best of luck with all the jobs on the farm this week & stay safe everyone 👍👍👍

Patrick 135....Ztr 8111
great vid phil hope yee are all ok keep up the good work
Be interesting to get a Kuhn combi baler out and compare it to the fusion
Can u not put bolt on each rake arm individually to keep them on?
Great work farmer Phil keep it up
At 23:25 there appeared to be a black object on the swath. Rake arm ?
Nice one Phil conditions perfect for bailing
Comment for the algorithm to help the channel 👍.
Check with your Class dealer as there was a mod/ update on that rake if its the same model I used.
When we did round bales in the 70s we had to put the burgers in big black bags what a ball cracker that was 😢 nice job there crack on 👌
I would really like to see Liv do a video on the small animals and poultry and maybe some garden preparations if possible or anything else she wants to talk about.
Brilliant video farmer Phil
Bro's rowing is spot on 👌
Phil. It may be worth speaking with Mr cvx when you do look at a new baler, he's got a Kuhn and seems to like it.
hey phil great video and also the way you do your video description is class veery detailed and very well worded!! if i can get my channel half as good as your channel ill be doing ok!
Is it chat gpt😊
Looks like your new man is doing a good job for you. Takes some of the pressure off you!
👍 hope pottinger Ireland sorts you out with the demo 882 flotast
Hi Phil. I get the same trouble on my vicon fastbale, think it’s to do with the wrap company applying it on the start of the roll
Have you got any plans to be able to send the beef boxes to England or are you just sticking to Ireland?
You should be able to set up the brake to clutch through the screen on the Massey the same as the kubota you had last summer

Interesting to see the problems with contacting. Lot of other videos only show when things are going really well
Great video phil
Great video Phil 👌

Great watching Phil it's trile and erour and 14:01 with head 😓 not so good !bales Looking well 👌
We have a 2020 claas liner 2700 and yet to loose a rake arm must be a new type of clip on them
Goodman phil, nice bailing outfit you have there, 7618 good addition too fleet, alot bales put through the fusion 2, pity your rake is giving trouble, maybe there is samaz demo rake on the way, good your help in rory is working out, keep videos coming
Your sister was on rake duties the time the harvester chewed it up. I would suggest Pottinger or Kuhn for a rake to replace the Class
Kuhn are a disaster in Irish conditions most contractors will tell you class or Krone are still the best rakes for tough going. Kuhn are too light.
The 7618 looks well on the fusion especially with the new tires that you put on the 76
The fusion 4 is on the list for next year 😅😅
Impressive numbers' of bales on the old girl :) A new rake would be nice, I do think the new Claas rakes is better than the old ones, but there is a lot of good rakes on the market as well :) I would'nt be surprised to see a Samaz rake! :)
now the kubota m7 and a kubota fastbale would be the dream
Best of luck with the baler and the season ahead Phil and gang
Square round bales! you are a gas man Phil lol
Good luck
Were ya going fast when bailing that heavy stuff?
Let me come down an help for the week over the summer am in northern Ireland 🇬🇧
Great video Phil that’s a sweet outfit there’s a lovely sound from the 7618 as sweet as a nut
Sorry forgot to ask how is the new tractor on the fusion 2
brilliant cant complain really
Great video
You could do with camera ,makes operating fusion easier, grease those net bar!
its on the list to add the monitor to the 7618

Well

wierd that you're having problems with it
maybe its the uneven ground here thats doing the harm
What new phone did you get and what phone did you lose

Is chatgpt doing the descriptions now? 😅
makes life easier🤣
I thought you got a Hollywood script writer.

You would want to get a Demo on a Valtra Phil you would never go back to a Massey there miles ahead

Joe seels found a rake arm in his bale rapping video
A friend of mine has a new Kuhn (combi) he promised me never to work a Mc Hale ever again
Whats Liv going to do with you home early lol
🇨🇮🇨🇮👍👍🙏🙏
🇮🇪🇮🇪
How many wraps of plastic are ye giving the bales
10 rounds of the double dispenser
Buy a mchale rake
If you're going to buy a new Rake or 2nd hand I'd buy a KUHN a great machine
Hi phil, drill a whole through and bolt the arms on what we did, the clips are shit on claas
will say it to father phil
did u forget the helmet on your motorbike you’re hair is a mess jes man 😂😂
You suffer from hay fever ?
Disappointed in bro 🙈
Pointless putting new joints in the shaft. Just buy new
thats what weve decided to do buy new heavier duty shaft
@@FARMERPHIL3690 yea I do the same. The time you buy the joint an whatever else you need the new shaft isn’t that much dearer. New samasz rake coming on demo? Be nice to see what there like

Great work farmer Phil keep it up
