How many of you remember the Y2K crazy? Were you around at the time? If you watch the film, let me know what you think! Did it capture 1999 for you? And is the film a good fit for Rachel Zegler? What do you think?
Oh, i think the machine uprising sorta worked. It wasn't that they had to be wireless, they could be wired or wireless. Like starting with the remote control car is obvious, wireless remote. But the posturpedic bed and the desktops were wired, so it implied that you could control them via the normal electrical plug. Did you ever see Electric Dreams in the 80s one of the first i ever saw that a pc controlled household electronics. They also showed how the machines coopted/absorbed electronics, so something small like a remote controlled car could get bigger and more powerful. Or not. 😅 it wasnt that good of a movie for me, despite me loving the cheesy Akira or Borg type of tech absorption.
Yeah. I completely understand. I think they are downplaying her role in the movie given I didn't realize that she was in it until right before I saw the screening. Thanks for the comment.
