I don't know if the part where the creepy weirdo across the street is trying to persuade the kid that his parents have dashed off without a word and left him in his care, and the kid is simply not having it was intended to be funny, but it sure was to me.

Theres this guy who puts out 2000 pumpkins every oct 1st. Takes entire week.off to do it. All custom hand carved like famous people. Crazy... theyre mostly plastic but he carved them all the same. Was on the news the other day
