Archie's recommendations like the MOTFnM and White Explorer boring? The point is, these are as he says, bang for buck. They're not boring at all, but good choices for people who may not be made of money and are interested in acquiring decent time pieces which serve well as a starting point to begin a horological journey. These are pieces to be proud of.

I can see flipping the seamaster. If you love the watch thats all that matters but that particular bond seamaster has been out of vogue for a while now. Flipping the jlc reverso I think is the wrong advice especially for the iwc. Having to flip both the omega and reverso he should be looking to move up market not down. All he gets is a precious metal and a chronograph complication. If we were talking a precious metal watch on a bracelet then I could stomach the deal more. I never thought I would hear archie fucking luxury advising someone to flip a jlc for an iwc.
