Great, the "restructured" Taga is now selling the bikes that were sold by the prior Taga "company". Based on the information released on Indiegogo, when Taga went "bankrupt", they had hundreds of bikes sitting in a warehouse - purchased by buyers that never saw their bikes arrive. The old Taga declared bankruptcy and stiffed all those buyers. If you buy a Taga now, it looks like you are buying a bike someone else paid for and never received.

WoW! Thank you for posting this I wish I read it before placing an order with them, which I'm fighting to get my money back! If you are looking to buy this thing please don't is a scam, after my complaint they have put most of their bikes as 'Out of stock".

I took advantage of this coupon code last year and got to enjoy the bike for about 1.5 months and 70 miles of riding with the family before experiencing a wheel failure. I've been trying to contact the Taga USA team for support for two weeks (calls and emails daily) with no replies. At this point, I would recommend everyone look at other options - I've experience incomplete orders, questionable construction quality, and no customer service from Taga.

6 month - 300 mile review: the bike was damaged in shipping. Scratches on the frame, dented fender, rubber axel covers busted. Pretty big bummer because I was excited to get it!
Assembly wasn't bad, but I'd set aside a few hours if you have any accessories to install. I bought the front fenders, rear rack, front/tail lights and canopy (haven't installed this just yet)
Maintenance/repair: chain broke on it's maiden voyage. Bummer. I put a new one on myself and that broke after 200 miles. Brought it in again to a shop and it seems as if they removed a link from the chain's original length because it's much tighter and doesn't have any issues since.
Speedometer only reads in Km/h. I had MANY communications with the company and when I finally got through with the service manager that my speedometer doesn't allow for a menu option , I was told to bring the bike into a shop. Their instructions was to hold the set button and for my trip computer, it resets the odometer to 0. So I'm stuck with converting KMH to MPH in my head all the time.
Rear rack machine screw broke in the bike frame. Ugh. Luckily I've removed these in cars before so I used a dremel to etch a slot in the broken screw and used a screwdriver to remove. Local hardware store had a replacement and that went in just fine.
EDIT: oh yeah, I forgot about the parking brake. The parking brake tab didn't go down when I first tried it. I disassembled the brake to find the mold was bad. The slot that was supposed to allow the locking tab that you would push down wouldn't clear, so I had to cut out the extra material. Did the company test the brakes when assembling this thing? This would have been immediately noticed if they had.
Serious safety issue- bike petals typically free-wheel when you push the bike forward. My bike's petals would move when pushing the bike and if the electric motor is turned on, the cadence sensor would sense the movement of the petals and activate the electric motor. The bike almost ran away from me a few times (thankfully without any kids inside) but I had pressed the brakes (there's a motor cutoff signal built in the rear brake). I had the shop address that when I brought it in for the bike chain.
    /EDIT
Service is terrible. Shows no compassion, has an attitude ( not all, but some) and just left me with a bad experience overall. Since you're buying a bike online, you will have a high likelihood of calling the company with simple questions, even if you receive a pristine delivery.
At full price, I wouldn't suggest this bike. I love it and high marks on the design and quality of the materials ( with some small issues like the machine screw for the rack). Negatives are detailed above but too long of a list for a company expecting people to spend several thousands on their bikes.
I hope the company hears this type of criticism and chose to improve because this is a great bike and has great promise to be better.

I have to say that the canopy is great with the child seat adapter. We took the kids on a bike ride to see the Christmas lights last weekend. Had a great time! This really is a great bike if you have little kids and can't get them in a 2 wheeled wagon style bike. My son just turned 1 but will most likely stick with the car seat until spring.
If you're going to buy this bike, just pay a shop to assemble it. It may cost more but for peace of mind paying someone else is worth it.

I bought one of these 8 months ago. Bad choice. Originally I thought the design was pretty cool for trips and the nursery run with two kids, but I really regret this purchase. The build quality is poor, the components feel cheap and nasty, and the customer service is zero. For anyone who found this video because they're thinking of buying one of these, my advice is don't even consider it, especially if you live in an actual city where you want to transport your kids around without feeling like one of the rusted wheels is going to fall off or the brakes are going to fail the whole time. There are much better options out there for this price range. Avoid.
On the other hand if someone wants to buy mine from me, please DM 😂

Ann WU not sure if you’re kidding based on my review? 😂 Sure, I’ll sell you mine. I literally just had to spend another $500 having the motor and controller repaired so it should be fine for another couple of weeks, if we’re lucky. I’m based in Norway though, not sure if that’s handy for you.

This is so stupid!!!! The first thing you hit will be the children in an accident. Plus what is more distracting than children waving and yelling at you in front of you when you need to be focused on something safe like riding a bike.
