Incredible Finds Fossil Hunting in Florida

- We made multiple once in a lifetime finds Fossil Hunting in Florida. Not only did we find many prehistoric Florida fossils, but we found Ice Age Predator fossils. Predator fossils are the rarest Ice Age fossil found in Florida. I have found Megalodon teeth by the lb. and multiple Mammoth teeth and Mastodon teeth, but these are some of the only predator fossils I’ve discovered while fossil hunting in Florida. As a child, it was my dream to go dino fossil hunting and discover dinosaur bones, and every week, I begged my Dad to take me artifact and arrowhead hunting. But I never imagined that one day we would be able to find some of these Ice Age beasts. It is crazy that these animals hunted alongside jaguars, lions, pumas, cheetahs, and sabre-tooth cats. We also did some shark tooth hunting in a spot near where the predator fossils were discovered and found multiple tiger shark teeth. While we are out shark tooth hunting and Ice Age fossil hunting in Florida Rivers, it is crazy to imagine the extinct animals that used to live here. And we are so lucky to be able to connect to this amazing history in such a tangible way!

We plan on hunting for a diversity of fossils all throughout the US this year with other fossil hunters such as Paleocris, Wildkyle, Ancient Artworks, Shark Teeth and Fossils and Bone Valley Collections. We hope to find beautiful Megalodon teeth, gems and minerals, great white shark teeth, artifacts, arrowheads, and megafauna creatures like mammoths and mastodons. We will also include videos on how to find shark teeth and explore discussions on some of our favorite topics in paleontology, archaeology, and geology!

It really excited me when you found that fire bear tooth as predator teeth are usually really rare over there in Florida and it’s cool to see a bear tooth come out of a different formation.

Absolute favorite moment was the opportunity to look at the bottom of that river with you! So many excellent finds! If I have to choose just one, the bear...no maybe the crocodile teeth...or that armadillo shell like I've not ever seen another fossil hunter find. Sir, I could go on...I just love fossils! Man, that was an awesome hunt! So many cool discoveries. If I just had to pick my favorite moment, it would be finding multiple fossils that likely came from the same animal--the dire wolf pieces. The bear canine was a really neat find as well, but I must admit to being partial to dire wolves. Thank you for taking us along with you!

My favorite part in the video was when you found that jaw section to a possible dire wolf. I always love seeing new things and learning as well. I've always been more of a hands on learner and it helps when you show and explain what everything is.
It's going to sound weird, but my favourite moment was when you showed us that you are standing on to submerged trees so that you could rest while not giving out of the river haven't you dropped between them to go hunt. That was very crafty.

As with all your videos my favorite part is when you give us the history of each find and go into detail about the animal it belonged to. We used to live in Florida for 14 years and had no idea there were so many fossils there! How exciting!
