You should give it a try especially with Three Houses being the newest game in the series you couldn’t ask for a better entry point. I wouldn’t have heard of Fire Emblem either if it wasn’t for Smash and I’m so thankful for it.
Small update if anyone reads this chat. I've yet to be lucky enough to play a game from the main Fire Emblem saga as I don't have the Switch or a disc for my Nintendo 3DS. But I recently started playing FEH, maybe not the best way to be introduced to Fire Emblem, but I'm really enjoying it I must say.

I have never played this saga (I know it only for Super Smash Bros). But this video is fantastic!
10/10 would recommend fire emblem to anyone who likes a strategy rpg game
