I had an old Vauxhall Astra estate (Pontiac LeMans wagon? in USA) that shook and rattled - hitting 110 mph felt like crossing the sonic threshold - almost silent (apart from the screaming 4cyl) and scarily smooth...
I’m going for 120mph, I’m 16years old, I’m beating this goal, the bike is built running and driving and is ready, I’m currently finding a area to test on I will do this, mark my word
I have been here since you guys was at you dad's garage building a rat rod lawnmower that smoked. To see you guys evolve into what you have become is truly inspiring. I wish someday I get my garage to this level as soon as it's finished. I'm glad I was here to see it and CONGRATS TO YOU ALL!!! And yes to the C10. Anything with a motor and I'll watch. Remember it does say CARSandCAMERAS
This has always been one of the most unprofessional channels on TH-cam. It's like they're stuck being 12 years old. I guess it works, but they could use some adult guidance. The entire premise is that of a child - so much that they had to hire a guy to turn wrenches. It is what it is. the heyday is over and I think they are fully aware. Time to transition to something different now. Played out. Jumped the shark. Same thing every single video. The YT algorithm promoted their first video, and ever since they thought they did it themselves. All their eggs are in one basket now. Gonna be a fast decline.
@@joegreene6250yeah, and? The point is to have fun with this kind of stuff, if anything it sounds like you regret not doing more fun stuff when you were younger
Something about this video made me think about those old videos too; The buyer's guide to old race karts, rat rod kart, and the black widow. This channel inspired me to buy my own go-kart and taught me a ton about small engines. I hope that more kids do the same. It's so much more approachable than learning on cars, if something breaks, you can push it home, or load it into your buddy's pickup, or even use a wheelbarrow.
Congratulations guys ! Once you crack that 100 mph mark you've entered a special club on a motorcycle . I know there are people saying " I've gone such and such on a 1000cc bike ) . But they are missing the point . You did it on an engine and bike that was never meant to go that fast ! I remember the time I cracked 150 mph on my Honda VFR the bike seemed to float and be running perfect . It's a feeling you can't really describe . Of course guys who live for the sound of the engine are a different bread anyway Go kart ...Mini Bike ... Motorcycle or some two wheeled creation at Bonneville . It's a memory that will keep you smiling into your old age . Happy trails guys . PK
I've flagged a lot of very fast mini bikes at my local hometown dragstrip 710 Dragway with video's on TH-cam, but I have never heard one scream like this one. I mean boys she was squealing on the top end of the runaway. 109.2 mph congratulations guys on a helluva build and one screaming ass Tillotson 236. Let's Go Stock Block Class 💪🏽. Glad to now that record came from our state of North Carolina, let's the world now we build speed and power over here and been doing it for years from Nascar to most Dragstrip than any state.
To help with the tach signal you might try a twisted pair wire configuration. There are 2 variants, unshielded and shielded. The easiest place to look are network cables cat6 and cat6a. Congrats on the record.
Yup, that could work. Or maybe just a single shielded wire, aka coaxial wire. I bet Ike has some antenna cable (that was once between a carradio and the antenna) laying around, waiting for a purpose...
You Guys ROCK !! I'm an Avid fan & I watch your videos Every day & i Learn something new each time about how to get the Most out of each of my small engines as well as each of my 4-wheelers, dirt bikes, my street cruisers etc...... Please keep the Videos /Content coming !!!
I don't normally have my heart racing while watching a TH-cam video, but this one definitely got it going. I knew everything worked out OK by your description, but was still a bit worried for your wellbeing. I enjoy living vicariously through you guys. Thanks for the video!
i've followed you guys since 2018 when i retired and it's been a HOOT!! ( i miss Charles, he added so much to your channel!!) Congrats on the record!!!
Johns truck looking fresh 👌- but old red with that trailer attached gave me warm feelings. ❤ Congrats on the speed record - will the frame need a lot of chopping to get the billet lump in ? 👍🤔😆
this channel always has me thinking of "behind the camera" environment, I always wish the absolute best for everyone that has a passion!!! Great video men! you guys ever appear on any podcasts?
@@CarsandCameras awesome, i have a video idea maybe a long shot but i love mini bikes and building gaming pcs, could you imagine a mini bike with a gaming pc built into it somehow functional? i havent found any videos with a gaming pc on a mini bike lol
Wow congrats! I wonder how much speed that side-mount helmet gopro cost though? It's like a little air brake. I bet you could go 120 mph with some tweaks to aero and gearing. That must feel wild on that little bike, I went 130 on my naked street bike and even that's pretty intense and it weighs over 400 lbs, but no fairing makes it kinda nuts with hurricane force wind in your face.
Hey Guy's, congrats on the RUNWAY RUNNER!!! Got a thought for you, that go pro in the front of that thing is an awesome view, looking back at the operator! You should do some prints of that view and put them on the walls of the shop!!!
Massive congratulations from Lincoln U.K. chaps! Started watching you guys when you were still in your Dad's garage, it's amazing how far you've come. Chas :0)
Congratulations guys, This was amazing. I have been on a drag strip at much higher speeds on a normal size bike. Not sure if I have the stones to do it on something so small. Be fast and be safe.
When you go back and watch, Isaac was backing out to soon on the first run @99mph. The motor didn't reach it's top rpm due to the fact! You can hear it plan as day in the video.
Congrats guys! 🍾👍🏻🎉 I saw the poster at the end of the video and learned that the record run was on my birthday! I thought, until today, that all I got was some money from mom & dad… This was a way better present! (Don’t tell them, though! 😉😁👍🏻)
I freaking love all y'all! Congrats! We all knew you would make this happen! Met y'all down at Pate swap meet about 2 years ago all the way from Pennsylvania. Hoping i can make it to Busco Beach at some point

That feeling John talked about, Hi s in about80 mph when all the vibration stops and it feels like it's floating, that's when it's getting super hairy!

The pollen coming off that runway behind that bike is crazy!
109.2 mph that's amazing, congratulations guys!
Congratulations on your personal best, bring it to Bonneville and make it official.

Sorry, but the gsx-r 600 wheels disqualify it from being considered minibike. They went 100+ mph on a full size bike, good job...
