I'm the old geezer in the white leathers behind you at 32:02. We were across from you in the pits, in the white ambulance. So many folks commented on your wagon with the bike on top - "that's REAL Bonneville, man!" You made it thru the emotional roller coaster of running on the salt. Congrats!
It's an awesome community, look forward to hopefully racing with you guys next year!
Haha thank you! Fun times
I bet it was an amazing thing to watch in person.
How did it go?
@@CarsandCamerasyou half to go back
"You ready, dad?" at 8:47 really hit home. Enjoy the moments you have with your dad. I wish I could add more to the time I had with mine.
Going over 100mph with a mini bike engine is hard... going over 100mph with a mini bike engine on the salt is even harder!
John ! No one puts baby Isaac in the back. Of his own ride 🤣🤣🤣
At almost 5,000 ft of elevation on a 90 degree day too!
And that thing probably weighs as much as 3 mini bikes
@matt3x37 Weight, good. Drag, bad. Lots of racers intentionally adding weight for traction, because it has no affect on top speed, it simply gives you more grip on the salt.
You should get a 2 stroke conversion done for next year.
Well done 👏
John- "I want to do it again next year". That's called salt fever. Congrats.
Yup, there's truly nothing else like it. Thank you!
This really elevates the channel you two started all those years ago
Been here since you were first talking about the drag rail
Watchin ever since.
Keep it up from Brisbane Australia
Super proud of you dudes, great job. We want to go with you guys next year!
Incredible yet INSANE!! Rolling in with the bike strapped on the wagon has to be the spirit of Bonneville. WTG everyone
Man I have gone 180+ MPH on a ZX-14 on I-4 in Clearwater, FL at 3AM, but I don't know how I'd feel about doing 120 MPH on a home built minibike on the Bonneville Salt Flats. WTG guys!
The ole 275 - I4 "malfunction junction" speed rip... Fun to rip it on thru there towards the hardrock casino... Or on the topside of the crosstown selmon expressway at 3am, another good spot to rip it ..😅
I can tell you from experience, you can go faster on pavement than on the salt because it is a little harder to get full traction on the salt. Of course altitude makes a difference.
The only exception I can think of is a jet car which doesn't drive the wheels. These guys from C + C have just gotten better through the years!
Go tornados 🌪
When they paved 429 you could hit over 200 on a turbocharged zx14 r…juss saying
When you’re wide open and waiting for the speedo to top out, you have so many things going through your mind like, “my life is hanging on this little metal chain not exploding” and “if a deer decides to cross this interstate right now, I’m a dead man”. It takes a LOT of balls to run any two wheeler WFO!
Man John you are so lucky to have done this with you dad me and mine were so close we raced each other as much as possible didn't matter if it was dinner or a quarter mile but damn I miss him he was a good one
All of you deserve a big attaboy and attagirl for this American speed achievement ! It's all trial and learning and you had a great start ...now you got the bug and I look forward to next year . Reminds me of my racing days with Ron , Jean , Chris , Pete , Tim and Scott and I'm Dave . Keep the shiny side up and the rubber side down , WFO brothers . PK
Thank you!
Congratulations! Everyone made it through safely, and the bike (for the most part) survived.
I would call that a HUGE win.
I would love to see you return.
Like to mention too guys, this was in the heat of the day, directly into a 5-10mph head wind, at 5,000 ft of elevation! That baby flies!
I'm so happy for you guys. I was seriously concerned and worried about how the end of Bonneville was going to go and now that you're leaving as a record holder couldn't be more happy for you guys. Congratulations you guys did it
More Cars And Cameras at Bonneville!!!
I had the opportunity to meet them on the salt I'm twice their age but I have followed for many years and take inspiration from their content and personalities . I hope to see the whole crew again next year oh and they are always looking for volunteers to work the courses come out be a part and who knows you might meet real life heroes i did great job guys congrats and keep it coming
Congratulations on making it to Bonneville, and congratulations on making your runs! Trials and tribulations of hardcore motorsports. I'm happy that you guys were able to get it done this year.
Thank you for taking us along with you. This was truly a professionally done series. I think we all felt like we were there with you. Filming things makes them harder, so we appreciate the extra effort.
Shiny side up, and get at it next year!
Wow what an achievement!! Seems like with any power sports when you push the envelope it bites your behind. But you guys pulled off your goal. Kudos.
that is fantastic boys!..Running out there is ALOT tougher than people think..seriously impressive..grreat job! Maybe i will see you out there next year! Congratulations!
They are thanking everyone and I’m so happy I have tears of triumph!!!!
Good job guy and gal.
Seeing you go from the chevy to go karts, mini bikes, back to the chevy, and now breaking a world record! I love you guys. Happy to see you still making great stuff. Much love John, Issac, and anyone else involved with CnC. Taylor, all of them!
Congrats and don’t forget to give a shout out to Charles for his time helping with the build
Yes go back my brothers the the content is amazing I love how you guys come together and kick the problems in the nuts and conquer the family and friendship you guys show is amazing and what keeps me coming back god bless all of you and side note it was so awesome seeing your dad by your side in this amazing adventure a memory that you both will have forever
Congratulations guys! I've been following the journey since last year; and your channel for at least 4 years or more. I enjoy your creativity and adventures. Definitely go back next year.
Cheers!
Congratulations on your achievements, that was a hell of a plateau to reach! So happy for y'all. And having friends in the wings to have your back is truly something.
I'm 2 minutes into this video and loving it. I don't even care about these mini bikes but it looks like you guys are hitting milestones people only dream of in life! Get after it!
Best episode you guys have ever made. I hope you continue to follow the salt flat dream and push that mini bike. As far as you can. You guys are awesome.
Great job john for getting up to 117 mph at Bonneville 👍
Thanks c&c
Going over 100mph on two wheels is a bit scary, doing it on a mini bike is insane. I tip my hat to both of you gentlemen, bravo!
My comfort zone is at 100+mph
I did 178.4mph on a 2011 gsxr600 that was dyno tuned to 130whp here in Australia on a sealed public road, most insane adrenaline rush of my life, can't imagine doing it on. Salt flat.
Been watching yall for several years now. I think this might be the greatest achievement yall have made so far. Yes go again next year!
That black bike was a buell blast.. Setting a land speed record with a thumper, nice.
I have a idea for a blast landspeed bike,
One day one day
Congrats guys! Your first time at Bonneville and like many of us that have been there I believe you now have the bug and will be back.
Congratulations you all rock
It's really good to see it happen this year! Congratulations guys!
The fact that that bike rode straight as an arrow on the flats is a great feat as well!
Way to go guys. Glad your efforts garnered good results and something to build on.
A huge congratulations guys and Gal, what a fantastic go at it this year, John you will have to frame the receipt of your time to pass down to your kids 😁 looking forward to next year's attempt, at least each year you go you refine the needed spares and equipment to make it easier on yourselves and be more prepared for the following year
IKE, 112 is also excellent don't forget you are more heavily statured than John so the speeds probably work out equally fast should you have weighed the same as John's
So proud of you all
Tony from Western Australia 🇦🇺
Way to go guys. Your efforts finally paid off.
I've been watching you guys since you started this chanel. You guys have come a long way. I love every episode and look forward every week to see what's next. You guys are definitely living life.
Its awesome to see you guys finally succeed!!! Thats Bonneville!!!!
Amazing accomplishment... congratulations!
Take THAT Donut Media!!! 85mph?! pfft! Try 120mph, on salt!
wow... they had so much more space.
@@TommyToboggan611 They had sea level and pavement and as much room as they needed. They just didn't have horsepower or a good design.
its still pretty stupid regardless. This motor can go plenty faster far quicker. if you just use damn gears
@amfk8079 Geared for top speed. More gears is just more drag. Wouldn't make a difference for top speed. If anything a detriment.
That clutch setup has more drag then a whole dirt bike trans. i am just failing to see what the big deal is here when my dang kids pit bikes go 70 in a few blocks. These guys need miles to go 100.
Those clutches have huge power loss. its one of the tradeoffs
Excellent job guys. You killed it. It takes huge balls to run 118mph on anything with two wheels not to mention a single cylinder air cooled engine going like crazy underneath your important bits. Damn guys. What an accomplishment!
Congrats Boys!! Job well done!
Y’all earned that Record!!
Kudos to all the people involved… truly a team effort. 😅💪🏽👊🏽
Congratulations, you crushed it!
Congratulations, guys. Great work and episode. Thanks.
Best project ever! Did not last long enough. Must go back next year!
Isaac's haircut screams "late 1990s " boy.
I love the long bangs!
My bangs are just at my chin from graduating in 1993, and I will never change the length...
If you look closely on our new beanie weenie tee shirt, even the weenie version of Isaac has his signature sideburns and shark tooth necklace. Good stuff.
@CarsandCameras But his haircut "SCREAMS" early 1990s, as mine does.
Good for Issac to find a haircut that fits his personality!
The delivery was great specialy with the giggle in the background.
Great work guys, 117mph on a mini bike, unbelievable! Bad luck Ike but you still got over a ton.
Great job everyone!! This was awesome!! I loved the entire series!!!
Bonneville creates better engineers. 👍👍 And great runs! I remember the first time I went fast in my Ford Fiesta 1.6. I went 125. I felt dead calm....but hyperfocussed. Very zen. The speedo goes to 130. She has a bunch more in her. Potentially 160+ with the current naturally aspirated 1.6L straight 4, and stock gearing.
When I was 12 I read Art Arfons biography. Considering I love airplanes and racing I found a special place in my heart for Bonneville. I’ve always wanted to go out there and run something. This might be the best video you guys have made. Pretty awesome doing 120 on a mini bike.
GO FELLAS GO!!!! I JUST STARTED WATCHING AND IM ROUTING FOR YOU ❤ let's see how it goes
I could feel the excitement from you guys. I was so impressed with your success. You've got me curious about a go kart now. I would like a update on the engine condition. Thanks for the video and I'll see you later.
Next year, 9000+ RPM go like Hell for 150mph!
We're retarding that cam timing and sending it to the moon! New territory, no one has ever run one of these engines wide open for literal miles. Played safe on the engine design for sure.
i will never stop watching this channel. there is no other like it.
Man, I’ve been chomping at the bit, waiting for this chance for you guys. Thanks again for a great viddy. Whoo-Hoo!!!
it's the morman fast and furious, we are going to over night parts from salt lake city :) great job guys.. did you guys follow Two Stroke Stuffing
@30:41
Awesome job guys congratulations
I just recently made a trip out to the flats for the test and tune in June! I didn't run anything but i hope of you guys go next year i can build something to participate- i saw a stand up scooter in the first episode! Amazing job guys! Inspiration for my channel
I'm already looking forward to next year's run!
Congrats!
Fell bad Issac didn't get a full run but proud of my fellow North Carolinians!
Awesome!!! Thank you for sharing!!!
Gettin' by with a little help from your friends!
Awesome job guys, you made us all proud!
P.S. You know when your minibike needs 428 chain, to go more than 1/2 mile you are a badass!
Congratulations guys!! So awesome! Been keeping up with the build! Love your channel and keep up the great content!
Congrats to all! Great to see this all come together!
I would definitely have my car washed after being out there😂 just the talk about salt makes my jeep frame shiver
Very proud of Isk and John, great success with plenty of work and crazy weather. I'm Sorry Isk, for going out on your run. Next Year will see you kick ass. Dam 117 running on Salt. :)
Well done team!thumbs up and thanks.
Congratulations. Y'all made history.
Another trip to Bonneville ???? Hell yes......great vid. Congrats !
nice job @CarsandCameras Team. You all fully deserve your accomplishments! and watchout for that Han Solo guy, he shoots first
I love this guy's keep it up love seeing Quinn funny enough my girlfriend has the same name makes me feel like I have more of a connection with the channel hearing her name or seeing her in a video 👍 also congrats to everyone involved in getting you guys here to complete a dream
Great job guys! This type of stuff is really difficult to do successfully.
The Star Wars Obi Wan reference was awesome!
I could feel the spirit of Burt Munro with you all the way ❤❤❤
🍁Great job. Wash, rinse, repeat. Looking forward to the next build. Kudos from Canada. 🍁
This was absolutely amazing!! that is insane
Came into a gx200 clone by chance last night. Had the crazy idea this morning to look at mini bike land speed records and came across these videos. Awesome job!
Adds new meaning to "Salt Life" now....doesn't it? Good job guys.
Definitely make another trip next year and beat y'all's speed way to go guys y'all are awesome glad to see John's dad helping y'all
So proud of you guys man. Great job John
Congratulations guys!
Amazing! Congratulations guys!
Congrats guys, great showing at the salt.
Great series! Looking forward to next year!
I think I wanna try some of that salt! Save some for me guys!
MEE TOOOOO
Man that was crazy! That was bucket list stuff lol, great video ya'll.
Congratulations everybody who was in on your build keep it up guys And always be safe
Great job to all involved in making this happen
Congratulations ❤
Congratulations on the speed
I thought it showed 124 before it went out completely. Still congrats on the success, and I hope you go back next year to beat this year record!
Holy crap guys this was awesome to watch and i thought 60Mph was fast on my Mini-Chopper you guys took it to a entire new lvl of "watch this". Also thanks for the 225 HP info because my friend sold me a old Gold-Kart racing kart with one included for cheap. Time to upgrade the mini chopper. Also if you want a Oldschool GOLD-KART Street-Kart roler for free to use for future projects and parts i would love to donate and see it used for whatever on this channel. I wish i lived closer.
Wonderful job fellas! Very exciting content and a very inspirational episode!
After last year's debacle, it was great to see you guys come back successful. I wish Ike could have gotten a full clean pass without any issues though; he definitely deserved that much at the very least.
great stuff guys thanks
You tuber Heavy D Sparks lives in the area . Maybe he could deliver them air mail in his black hawk.....lol
LoL..Unless he has a 1/2 mil production fee
Ya right highly doubt that.
It wouldn't be the first time that parts were dropped from a helicopter onto the Bonneville salt flats 🤣🤣
Not all the TH-camrs are friends..
Congrats! Great Job my dudes! Maybe next year try a power adder, like a Mini Cooper supercharger with ram air intake and some NitroMethanol fuel if allowed? Safety wire all the nuts and bolts. Carbon fiber frame and panels and adjustable ballast weights?
When I saw it hit 120 I shouted so loud my cat jumped lol
This is why I love this channel!!!! Great job guys!!!!!
Wow ! Been watching since long before the double engine go kart ! To see you guys go to the salts and hit 120! Insane
Congrats guys!
