Tim you are famous in the Disney influencer space. There is a huge difference between being entitled and feeling you are BETTER than others vs being humble and confident. You definitely never come across that you feel you're better than others bc I don't think you feel that way.

Friday, Aug 9, 4:15am. Well, it's pretty much confirmed that the Avengers E-ticket attraction will be announced for DCA and the ride vehicle model looks like a re-skin of Peter Pan's Neverland Adventure in Fantasy Springs. That means the ride system will travel through physical sets with screens.
I love Tim’s description of Survivor is exactly how I feel about those shows ! When I took my granddaughters 6-3 to see inside out . I leaned over and said imagine if this was a ride in WDW and the 6 year old was YES 😍That would be great she would think some how I made that happen 🥰😂
Caribbean Beach was the first moderate resort opened! I stayed there the first year it opened at age 9. I credit that resort with my current love for Disney!! We had stayed at the monorail resorts prior, but couldn’t afford a full week. C. Beach was a game changer!! ❤
I stayed at CBR in May and we were in Jamaica. We all loved it, it's so relaxed and beautiful. Tons of wildlife, the kids loved the playground. We did walk to the Riviera and it's not far at all.
Tim, when your mentioned air conditioning the parks, the canopy of the Freemont street experience in vegas came to mind. That would provide shade and lower temps. At least the light show would be entertaining.
The cilantro rice is really good at Sebastian’s. Tim, you and Jenn haven’t been back to Sebastian’s since Covid and their switch to a family style menu.
I think Tim gets all his pride for himself by looking at HIS family, in Jenn, Jackson and Oliver. Every now and then he recognizes that HE has walked with them to become what they are or gotten them to be what they are... especially the great dad realm... and that's a little (yet major) source of pride for himself. That fills him up sufficiently. Then beyond that is how much he is recognized for who he is and what he does. So he does hear it from others often enough. I can see that the computer thing might be out of most people's reach but I do stuff like that, as an engineer. Ur prob not going to make it worse (unusable is unusable...) u might as well try to fix it. Mostly it works out just fine. Nicks still good to push Tim to be proud in other ways, that never hurts, but I think Tim's self condidence is overall doing just fine.

Your kid sees a character to meet, "hang on kid you have to walk aft or forward and wait for an elevator" is kind of annoying.

YES!!!! To Numbers 3, 4, and 5!!! How COOL would it be if they turned Wonders of Life back into a thriving pavilion. They used to have the Cranium Command movie show which was kind of like Inside Out except it was a dude named Buzzy controlling a teenager's brain. They could just easily sub that in for the Inside Out characters and make a new show. Then they also had things about health and wellness. I feel like there are some other IPs they could pull from too. They already have Ratatouille at France, but they could have him also talk about healthy eating or something. And maybe some other IP to talk about fitness- Mr. Incredible or something (I don't know, I can't think right now, but.... that's an idea). And Baymax or Mei Lin (Turning Red) or someone to talk about health and your body. A new land at epcot.... not sure what they could add, but surely they could come up with something. We have Land, Sea, Space (x2, really), Communication, Transportation, Imagination... Maybe bring back something like Innovations where it's just technology coming to households and businesses? I was thinking maybe they could FINALLY update Spaceship Earth as they had been planning to do with the big renovation that ended up being scaled down immensely. THAT would be neat to see. And as for Figment, I DO ride it EVERY time I go to Epcot. The ride isn't that fantastic, but it's still pretty funny and like Tim says, if we want something to stick around and have relevance and attention, we need to keep going to it, even if it's outdated (like Muppets 3D.... we need a new movie for that one). So I keep going to it. The meet and greet, nah... Bring back Dreamfinder with hand puppet figment. SO, how about they completely overhaul Figment (like they're doing to Test Track and have done to Living Seas) and restore it to its original glory but with updated technology. I feel like the reason Figment 1.0 closed (and redone) was because the repair/upkeep was too much to handle not because of money but because the technology may have been ahead of its time. But now things have caught up and we're able to achieve a lot of the original effects with more reliable, affordable, and resourceful means. Besides, they seem to be doing a lot of "re-skinning" lately with rides vs making new ones, so this one shouldn't be too difficult. I think they said they shortened the track for one of the iterations, but it shouldn't be too hard to put the track back, since the building is still there- they didn't shrink that... As for 7 and the updated Ariel show, that IS happening!! They've already begun casting for it. We just don't know when it will open.

After seeing the video for the Harry Potter area, I get the feeling that the ministry of magic ride might go in the direction of Rise of the Resistance. The moving cabins of the elevator felt like it and it would make sense to board everyone into the elevator to the trial and then Umbridge tries to escape in another cabin and you try to catch her
What if it does a mixture of Rise (theming and combo of screens/props and fluid motion of travel) and Tower of Terror (big/tiered seating area and a combo track and drop shaft) with some of the technology from the other Harry Potter ride(s) with the highly maneuverable arms that they sit on which can tilt forward, backward, sideways (potentially, but unlikely 360), and spin/rotate on the x axis? That would be interesting.
@@Nimeariel i think that's realistic. But I think they will use a similar drop mechanic like rise. I don't think they plan to build a similarly high building like tower of terror in the area. Or they build a fake church in the scenery for Paris and hide the drop tower in there. But that might make things to complicated
@semper.videre Yeah I was just simply referring to the large-capacity vehicles on ToT and the fact that they have a track and shaft mechanic. Didn't necessarily mean a large tower. I was thinking more like rise for the drop size and track layout/movement (vs the low-capacity vehicles).

But, if they did have a tall drop (or lift) disguised somewhere, that would be fun, simulating the whoosh up the floo-network thing and then they could have maybe multiple shafts to lock into for different up or down scenes. To be honest I haven't ridden ANY of the other Harry Potter rides, just seen footage and heard stories from friends, but it seems an interesting combo of technology to work with!
I don’t understand why Disney would only allow party theme foods during the after hours when most people can’t get tickets to the party. They would sell so much more if they offered it all day throughout all the parks for the season
My husband and I are DVC members, we go to Disney world 2-3 times a year. I’m trying to decide if we should go to Disneyland?? At least once. Tell me your thoughts, do you love Disney land? Is it something we should experience?
Disneyland is SO much different thank WDW. And many would argue it's better. It's 100% a different vibe- smaller, more quaint, and a lot of the rides are longer or different than WDW even though they're "the same". Pirates is WAY longer at Disneyland with more scenes. Small World has disney characters sprinkled in as dolls in each respective country. The characters actually ROVE the park and are not necessarily stationary like they are in WDW with specific meet and greet locations. You just will randomly see the characters walking in the paths and you can stop them and take pictures and autographs and actually interact with them more. And there's so many more comparisons. The lines tend to be shorter or at least the crowds.... you don't NEED fastpass or genie+ or whatever they're calling it. Go on a weekday to Disneyland and a weekend to California Adventure. Hardly any crowds.

I think Caribbean Beach is one of the worst Disney resorts. I tell people to stay at POP instead all the time if they want skyliner. I can’t get past having to cross streets with traffic to stay in those new rooms in Trinidad and get to the lobby.
Nah..... Reopen Wonders of Life and replace Cranium Command with Inside Out. That's the EXACT thing you're describing. And make Figment back to the original ride using updated technology.
I think there is a generation of us that were taught to be humble and not brag. It can turn into self deprecation. We need to learn from the youngin’s that it’s healthy to be proud of yourself!
I love Nick and his openness about sharing his feelings but watching over the months saying "I'm proud of you or it or whatever" too much it starts to lose it's meaning. I'm not saying he doesn't mean it or being insincere but maybe should use other words to convey his praise? A lot of it is Nick's job with Undercover Tourist. He goes and stays at Universal too as part of his job. They recently stayed at Legoland too. Amd the Trackers have always done different resort stays as part of their TH-cam channel. Definitely unique jobs, but still, a lot is a part of their jobs.

Nick, I hate Umbridge too!! So much. To the point where I can’t watch that one movie. I was really concerned that when she played the queen in The Crown that I wouldn’t be able to watch it and I LOVE the crown but I was able to separate the 2 roles in my mind ( thank goodness)
Disney doesn’t care about the relationship between best selling movies and rides. Perfect example is The princess and the frog. Worst grossing movie that Disney had but they turned Splash Mountain into Tiana’s.

I worked the olympic trials for swimming here in Indianapolis, it was so cool

I think Caribbean Beach is one of the worst Disney resorts. I tell people to stay at POP instead all the time if they want skyliner.
I can’t get past having to cross streets with traffic to stay in those new rooms in Trinidad and get to the lobby.
I think there's an underpass too that avoids the roads? But yeah... Trinidad is so far away from everything else.

I love Nick and his openness about sharing his feelings but watching over the months saying "I'm proud of you or it or whatever" too much it starts to lose it's meaning. I'm not saying he doesn't mean it or being insincere but maybe should use other words to convey his praise? I fell like Tim feels it also, but seeing how Tim reacts to praise might just feel embarrassed. AM I being too harsh? Anyhow, I do love the chemistry and bond between Nick and Tim and look forward to these podcasts!

Love Caribbean Beach. Stayed there numerous times. I think that's why I like the larger resorts, it gives them more of a village feel.

A lot of it is Nick's job with Undercover Tourist. He goes and stays at Universal too as part of his job. They recently stayed at Legoland too. Amd the Trackers have always done different resort stays as part of their TH-cam channel. Definitely unique jobs, but still, a lot is a part of their jobs.
I pray on d23 being a let down. Especially for the heads that wake up at 3 45 am in California to get a virtual line for a tee shirt shop. Absolute grooming techniques. Only the most loyal will be rewarded. One of us one of us one of us.

I hate Umbridge too!! So much. To the point where I can’t watch that one movie. I was really concerned that when she played the queen in The Crown that I wouldn’t be able to watch it and I LOVE the crown but I was able to separate the 2 roles in my mind ( thank goodness)

Disney doesn’t care about the relationship between best selling movies and rides. Perfect example is The princess and the frog. Worst grossing movie that Disney had but they turned Splash Mountain into Tiana’s.
I do like Nick, but a couple of times during the podcast when Tim talks about Universal, Nick derails the conversation and brings it back to Disney. There's not enough chat or excitement about Universal Stuidos anyway, and now we have the amazing announcements. More Universal love please across all Florida vloggers 🌎💜
