    UPDATE: Anyone having difficulty putting those screws into the bottom of the feet....I added a drop of sewing machine oil to the threads and it helped tremendously!
    I bought this table 6 months ago and still haven't put it together lol. I'm currently looking for a nice size, sturdy, wooden table that will be the right height to quilt from. I just don't want to pay over $1000 for a "sewing table". Thinking maybe just a used farm kitchen table would be sturdy enough and large enough to do some quilting from.

      Yeah! My table is a $200 outdoor IKEA table I bought about 10 years ago!

      I use an old farmhouse style dining table, solid pine and heavy. It has an expansion for when I need the space. It is used as a cutting/sewing table.

      Yay! I’m so glad the glue basting method worked well for you! I’ve done a couple of free motion quilting tutorials so far, and I plan on doing several more in the coming months! 🤓

      I JUST finished a crib sized quilt using the "school glue basting method". It was SO NICE not having all that overspray from using the 505 I usually use. No more trying to get all that overspray off of my cutting table, hands, floor, etc. (I'm really not a messy "sprayer" but that 505 literally gets all over no matter how careful I am, and it tends to gum up my needles)

    I have the same extension table with my Juki Tl 2200 ( I’m in Britain). I found issues with the height of the blue legs aswell. Also the cable on the foot pedal was barely long enough to reach the floor. I put it on a small box in the end.

However, I'll give you the dimensions of the cut out and you can see if your machine would fit inside. The cut out measures 7" x 17" and the table is about 3" tall. I hope that helps! I bought the Sew Steady original version of this style long front facing Juki TL series extension table for a sewing machine dealer in the USA $169 USD and it is the proper feet of the Sew Steady brand. This is a rip off branding that Amazon is allowing for so many knock offs. Support the brands that actually designed these tables and quilting notions and not give our money to rip off con artists from disreputable countries, to save a few dollars. We will be taking money from the hard work done by the creators of unique tools. Support your quilt designers, tool designers and sewing machine distributors and not Amazon thief’s. The fact that blue dye is all over her fingers is a sign of toxic plastic. And she spent $20 more than what Sew Steady cost me for the fabulous original of the same table! Insane. Do your research. Do not support cheap knock off products based on price. You will pay the price, in the long run. Otherwise I love the style of this table with my Juki TL 2010Q for FMQ quilting. I do recommend the style of table, but by Sew Steady tables.

  • @donnanelson9181
    @donnanelson9181 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    I bought one. It was a piece of cheap crap that cost $200. The legs are cheap hard plastic and the second one I screwed in broke. Save your money. I talked to Juki. They do not make this table. Someone stole their logo. Its a scam.

    • @StitchObsessed
      @StitchObsessed  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah, unfortunately, I assumed since the only place I could find it was Amazon, it wasn’t a legit Juki product. I wouldn’t go as far as to say it’s crap, but the legs definitely were EXTREMELY temperament to adjust and NOT great quality. For me, it was worth the $180 I spent since I do a lot of FMQ and it’s awesome to be able to use my Juki TL-2010Q like a legit sit down midarm. Thank you for your input! 💖

    • @MorningDove204
      @MorningDove204 ปีที่แล้ว

      I looked up Sew Steady Tables 24” x 32” Giant Free Motion Quilting table for TL series SST-GFM front facing on Google. The knockoff showed up first, the scrolled past those to the legitimate brand sales from Ken’s Sewing Center, I got mine at Sewing Machines Plus in a bundle with my Juki TL 2010Q FOR $169 USD and free shipping and it is quality. These knockoffs are ruining legit companies by taking their designs and feeding on our desire to save. We all lose money in the long run, when it breaks or we have to replace with the better quality product we should have bought in the first place. Save up and buy quality. A few great tools is better than a studio full of poor quality junk tools and you will be happier in your making. We don’t need as much as we think we do to craft well. I do love your enthusiasm, but take care in where you place your support of products and recommendations. We all want to support legitimate designers and tool makers, so they stay in the business and keep doing what they do best. I will step down from my soap box now. This is a pet peeve for me. I got sucked into a few items that were falsely advertised as other brand products and arrived flimsy cheap products. Never again. Amazon has gone down hill so fast. They do not vet products or sellers. I buy from quilt shops and sewing machine suppliers/stores online or in person. Beware of EBay and Etsy as well. Check where it is being shipped from and if price is too good to be true, be suspect of quality over quantity. This is a huge issue. Happy sewing.
