People don't know about Pippen. He was the coldest basketball player behind an LSU Shaq I've ever seen in my life. Dude grew late in his life (even as a PRO he was growing) so he was a big man with small man skills. It's crazy

What's funny is Gary Payton hated and intimidated by little John Stockton who never talked back to Payton so Stockton was the only player Payton didn't trash talk after trying to ruffle Stockon's feathers.

I am enjoying the John Salley interviews but I am very skeptical about buying into a lot of the details he provides in his anecdotes. Isiah Thomas already admitted to walking off the court after Jordan and the Bulls beat the Pistons in the Eastern Conference as the biggest regret of his career. It wasn’t “handing the torch” to the Bulls as Salley claims here. It was sore losing. Isiah, the captain of the team, already alluded to this and his credibility holds here. I had a lot of respect for Isiah as a player and even more for him admitting this. I want to believe Salley stories but some things are inconsistent.
