      As someone who's from the Netherlands, I can say they are respected far beyond the States.
      Don't know about the new generation (guess not), lol

    In Zimbabwe, music makes me high, lexus, coupes, bimaz and benz, Renne and Me and my crazy world, were national anthems. I think l can safely say no American rap group had as much impact in Zimbabwe as the Lost Boys. Big up to LB Fam.

    Am a huge LB fan. The thing is, lots of people in Africa use to know Lost Boyz songs but not they name. They songs are very popular in Africa. Till today there is no event (outdoorings, weddings, funerals, party's, clubs etc) that they don't play lostz boys song....lb 4 life. 💯💯💯

    This hit home I’m from south side Jamaica and this group especially in 95 when I was 12 I was super proud to be from the same hood and I knew the names they would say on the the first classic album. Their music was one of the soundtracks of my early and mid twenties. I did their dance so many times from the Q-Club to Krystal's to Metropolis and all the other Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan and Long Island nightclubs I frequented.
    Edit: And I worked for the ORIGINAL Shirt Kings in the Jamaica Coliseum Mall, 1986/87. RIP Kasheem. 🤍🕊️

    The crazy thing is that streetwise , LB was gangsta, They were definitely in them streets in south jamaica queens... But yet they still chose not to glorify much of it in their raps and chose to have fun in the music.. A few serious and street songs here and there, but they balanced it with that fun element too

    My dad has a Nissan Lowrider custom paint lowered on Daytons, i was 6 years old when Legal drug money came out, he played tf out of it when he came and got me, i have never listened to this tape on my own but i know every song, im 33 now he still has the same truck and Lost boys tape, the nostalgia is amazing!

    The music and the flow was more than enough! I knew they had to be saying some real shit just by the way they projected themselves in every single aspect of their projects .
