In my experience, most player scavs are passive with each other or even helpful. Every now and then you get one who just follows you around, definitely watch them and stay close to AI till they leave. I absolutely hate saying that this game has beaten Tabor, but it really has. The only thing Tabor does better it audio, and it's a HUGE difference. Tabor audio is reliable and the guns sound so good.
every single player scav i have come across they just insta kill you either not knowing that you can be friendly or they dont care and im not talking just once or twice im talking about 20 scav runs ive done ive died to player scavs shooting everything on sight
The MICA device you use for the map can give you information on items. So if you want to know which helmet/bag is better while making loot choices, hold it in front of it.
You can wrap your abdomen/chest btw! You have to wrap horizontally instead of vertically like your arms though. When you hover over a body part with any medical item, it’ll highlight which one it will heal upon application above your pouches on your vest
It is genuinely impressive how many polished features are in this alpha. I remember when it first came out, you could barely shoot a pistol one handed. One week later they update the game and shooting pistols one handed feels more realistic. Makes GoT seem so dated, and I love GoT.
Only a couple minutes in, but the ammo and weapon manipulation impresses me. It’s pretty great that we are seeing more high quality tactical shooters on the VR market right now. I hope as haptic and hand tracking technology improves in the future we start seeing it incorporated in games like this.
If you’re ever curious about what to trade off for better gear, the map tool will tell you the stats of any held item if you hold it up next to the item you’re curious about. Happy grinding! 😎

This game is one of the very few in vr that makes me shake. Tabor has never been scary to me but the feeling of ur limbs being broken and fighting your life is insane in vr. They did a great job on this game and I personally find it more enjoyable than tabor.

This game already has me playing way more than Tabor ever did. I won't lie when i first played Tabor I was enamored but then that sensation wore off as I kept playing and kept dying. But I've had way more successful raids and plays in this game. Most of the time when I died in Tabor I got pretty annoyed. Most of the time it was due to Fenix and in ways that just didn't sit right. In Exfil Zone I've gotten annoyed but only at myself because they were all deaths that were my fault or could have been prevented.
@ put it on the bottom of bag, you must take all ammo pouches off first. Also the bag must be one of the bags with a round top not the small square one.

Here’s the difference between tabor and Exfil zone. Tabor was the first major gun game made by combat waffle studies, E zone was like the third gun game made and was the third major improvement on handling and function of the games. Tabor devs took breaks and were very silly and focused more on adding new content and not addressing bugs. I don’t think it’s ever felt smooth and nice, just holding a gun feels clunky and difficult. E zone everything is polished and clean and smooth. You trust where your sights are aiming unlike in tabor. Finally, tabor doesn’t take stuff seriously while the e zone devs try their hardest and base it around past stuff that worked and it works for us.
Its a wonderful game. It does have it's issues obviously, but I think it's truly what we wanted for a "Tarkov VR clone" in the best way possible. They're also bringing more features and details in comparison to Tabor. Tabor has been stated to "add soon" for a lot of features, but Contractors add in a matter of a week. This to me is showing the difference between the two games. I just hope we see more updates from both ends.
This is the best grocery store simulator out there. Plus you get scavenger hunt. There is some gunplay against people very far away, but this game is all about finding deals.
Do you still use a gun stock or have you transitioned to free hand. I used to but just felt slow comparatively even when I got used to the physical stock.

You lied to me Pairs. You can’t Iraqi reload the AKs😢 it’s my most requested feature in most VR games because it fixes the no bolt release problem I have with older AKs.
I definitely due this is a lot better with h264+ then with hevc but for some reason I get a lot of lag spikes with that probably due to the higher bitrate on h264+ but that probably has to do with my router and 5ghz instead of 6ghz network in my case
I just started playing today after starting Tabor a couple weeks ago. Both games have plusses and minuses, but the biggest issue I have with Exfil so far is guns are very tough to come by, so naked/low tier runs are very VERY difficult. I feel like a melee system is needed. It's a little cheap in Tabor when you could run up and snap scavs necks, but sometimes that is needed to at least get your feet in the door. In exfil if you go in naked you're probably not surviving. Maybe thats more "realistic" but it really kind of sucks so far in these first 4 or 5 raids. Otherwise there so far seems to be a lot to like about Exfil. Havent spent enough time yet to see how bad of a grind it really is, but tabor is a rough ride for trader levels and tasks which I'm a little annoyed with atm. Floor calculation is also pretty bad in Exfil for me, haven't figured out how to fix that yet.
So glad you finally got around to giving this game a shot. It is ADDICTING. And way better than tabor lol. I don’t just say that as a c$ fanboy. From the mechanics to the ai to the gunplay it’s all just more polished. Cuz caveman has had more time with this engine and are just better devs than CWS at this point

i tried ghosts of tabor and uninstalled it cuz there were so many scavs and to little loot, overall wasnt that good, this looks way better than tabor and i am in the process of refunding ghosts of tabor so i can get this game
This game is the one to convince me the quest ruined VR for me. Almost all of this game's issues I'm having come from inside out tracking and the quests hardware. I need outside in so bad I might pick up a Vive pro or something sometime. More on topic, the weapon/inventory/health system seems to just be WAY better than Tabor. Love the retention reloads, seems like a mandatory conclusion for a game like this. Also love how durable the med items are, the need to spam them is a huge burden in most extraction games. Games seems good, but my hardware is killing it
I gave up on GoT. It's still so unpolished, clunky and aimless. Whenever I check the updates page, it's fixing and breaking all the time, with minor content and DLC's while still in alpha. Not to mention how defensive the devs are. It's about time we get a proper game.

The fact that technically we got magazine refill animations and moving while repacking mags in ExfilZone before Tarkov itself is kind of funny.

Guns aren't hard to get at all, never got going in with no gear and creeping and searching for toothpicks, glue and computers parts, so boring.

Agree. Gunstock is quite helpful in this one. Double check your virtual gunstock type.
