Always love flying Horizon’s Q400’s. Makes your feet feel like they’ve been sitting on a belt sander from the vibration after a few hours but super smooth and used to be free beer or wine each flight!
Nice!! I’ve seen this aircraft a few times. I Love how Alaska does liveries for their Q400s. Also, you should try the new routes from SMF-ATL/ATL-SMF Operating now on the 757!!!
Wow! This trip brought back some memories for me. Back in the early 90's I was enrolled at a college in Elmira, New York, but lived in NYC (shout out to Brooklyn). I used to take one of these Continental Connection Q400 turboprops from Newark (EWR) to Elmira (ELM) if I wasn't in the mood to take the six hour bus ride out of Port Authority Bus Terminal in midtown Manhattan. The total flight time between EWR-ELM was only about 45 minutes, but man it was turbulent as all hell flying over the Adirondacks and into the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. The descent into ELM was pretty steep and it always felt like the pilots would sort of 'white knuckle' us into the airport as the passengers and cabin crew were being kicked from one side of the sky to the other. I was truly happy to stop making those trips after I transferred to a college closer to NYC and the family. The memories though! As always, thanks so much for sharing...
You weren't anywhere close to flying over the Adirondacks. The Adirondacks is about 200 to 250 statue miles north of where your route of travel is. You spent 90% of your time flying over the northeastern section of Pennsylvania. Point to point it's only about 150 Nautical mile straight line flight which it makes sense for your 45 minute flight in a turboprop.
This Q re-view is brought to you by the Nanooks of UAF. short flight but this video packs in a lot of beautiful scenery. After watching it don't forget to hit the like and sub buttons. Well done Quebec Foxtrot Sierra and thanks for sharing!!
I usually don't have the song names available after I upload, but luckily I still have this one on my desktop for a future video! It's called Got Caught in Amsterdam by Arc De Soleil
Have a question for anyone who can answer for me. I am flying on British Airways from Los Angeles to Paris via London in November. Where would be the best place to sit for space and storage on a A380 and a 747-400 in economy? I would appreciate any suggestions that anyone who has flown on a A380 before. Thank you!!
11:49 I was on the Go Russel! plane back in February. AS57 JFK-LAX in seat 3A

I love flying them too! They still serve free beer & wine, as long as the flights are long enough to do a service.

@@michaelb.8953 You're right! Thanks so much for the correction. I was intending to say Pocono Mountains, but failed to make the correction. Cheers...
I like all the different liveries

Thanks QFS !!!
Gate E96 is a very popular gate in YVR. It's the only gate that Alaska Airlines flies but if it's an E175 then the jet bridge is added.
Great Vid! You offer a nice variety!! I never knew there were so many airlines!
Thank you! Haha in a few months I'll be uploading Air Greenland I bet you'll enjoy it
@@QFSAviation Already looking forward to it!!!!
Love the dash 8
Sameeee although they're really noisy
@@crystalwstoffel4083 i like the noise
I remember when i used to use that airline from Burbank, California to Spokane, Washington
Did you connect through Seattle or Portland, or was it nonstop?
hi qman. short trip but great views! thanks for sharing, and as always, safe travels my friend.

Haha always! Thank you
I like the university of Alaska livery on that Q400
I do too! They have a lot of other university liveries also.
Never a satisfactory week without a QFS upload. Well done man. I hope they never retire the Dash8
we were at the small satellite terminal at SEA....nice trip Q :)
we were at the ballard locks on a seattle tour before the cruise
Is it just me or is it that at 0:17 there was something wrong with the American 737?
Wow! Awesome video
:) thanks
Liked the video! Also QFS this is a question for you! How many places have u been to?😂
Thanks! Wow I've never really thought, but I'm sure around 100 airports by now
So cool!
Hey. Love your videos from one aviation fan to another. You should do a report on Porter in their Q400s.
Thanks a lot! I want to eventually, maybe to Halifax or St. Johns
You're lucky you got this flight in. Horizon just took the Q off the YVR routes. All E175 now. Don't ask me why lol.
I've heard... what a shame, its a great aircraft
Probably the 175 is newer, and passengers must like the jet engines better.
@@djijspeakerguy4628 I like the turboprop and jet the same
Interesting... Im flying out on tuesday at YVR to SEA and according to my booking it says Ill be on a q400.
@@robhinze8626 yeah that was 2 years ago lol. It’s back to the Q now. I just flew the Q there today.
I love Seattle. Especially during the day. Flying in and seeing the mountains will never get old. That is, if it is clear out...
I find it pretty interesting Omni Air Intl is parked at a jet bridge
3:53 the music is sooo chill. Can you share the name of it. Great report as always...!
I usually don't have the song names available after I upload, but luckily I still have this one on my desktop for a future video! It's called Got Caught in Amsterdam by Arc De Soleil

👍👍👍👍📹✈✈
"Carry-out items." "a la cart." somewhat of a food theme to baggage at Horizon.
Q400 I don’t think it comes to Vancouver no more sadly, whenever I check it’s always an E175
Ryan Hirji yeah they gave it to the jet for a reason we don’t quite understand 😂
It’s unfortunate that they repainted this bird
no bathroom tour ___________
Kill the music track. It ruins the flight/travel experience we seek in watching flying videos!. Thanks.
leaving your site now, always the same and I would have liked it if you would talk. But all in all Iiked the site
DASH 8 IS THE WORST!!!!
