- I take a trip to SCANIA in Södertãlje Sweden to test drive the L360 (1,700Nm) This cab is designed for tight city conditions with easy access into the cab as it sits low giving you great visibility all around the cab from the drivers seat.
it's 9-litre five-cylinder engine is available in 280, 320, 340, and 360 hp depending on your choice of fuel.
Let's see what it's like on the road...
Thanks for watching, Stavros

👋 Thanks for joining me early this Sunday morning. So what do you all think of the SCANIA L-Series?
Was looking at one last week Stavros, I think it looks bizarre, almost looks like an airport vehicle. The front is just odd looking. If you parked that next to an Atego, it would definitely stand out I reckon.
Almost 60.000 subscribers 😄👍🏻
Stavros I love your truck reviews. What's the fuel consumption of Scania in L/100km compared to the new Actros?.
Scania is the best
what if you hit a pothole
That cab would be perfect to make in to a car transporter, they always have the smallest cabs and do overnights a lot.
hopefully the car transporter version won't be that much lower lol
ASAP Slide shut up. This is vehicle
@@snakecold6755 Yes, it's a vehicle.. that drivers live in for long periods of time. The P sleepers are already small enough
i would just use it AS a car
What a sleek looking truck when she's sitting low. Ide say she would really stand out against the crowd with a nice box body on her back 👍
Looks cool as a bin wagon. I was taken back when I saw one taking a break almost on the floor
*_Looks like someone cut a scania cabin in half 😂_*
Guni And added ajustable air suspension extra
Laughs in Italian Emoji
Hahaha
*budget cuts*

Personally the most awaited test drive from you, looks more like driving a city bus rather than a city truck
It's important to know that those who drive these small trucks do just as an important job as those who drive a 730 Topline
At 04:00, that white plate is a normal plate and the green plate is a dealer plate. The truck is probably not inspected and taxed, thus not road legal. But with the dealer plates it can be driven on public roads legally. The normal plate is in 2014 onwards style and the dealer plate is in old 1985-1993 style. The big gap between the letters and numebers were used for tax stickers before (and on dealer plates a sticker indicating if it's a car, trailer, truck, tractor etc plate).
As a driver of a Scania P280 and P410, Scania videos make me happy!
Having air suspension and then having the seats on full air is just too comfortable. That is luxury compared to what I work with.
Not much use on landfill I'm betting
But 360 engine ruin everything
@@cloudcxscade why?

Would be cool to see this kitted up for a custom show.
Hey! Cool to see you visit Scania Södertälje in Sweden, I drive there every day, as a team leader of the recycling company with all the green containers you can see at 16:56 behind you! Would have been cool to meet you!... I love your videos and all reviews with the passion only a trucker has! Keep up the good work!!
Looks like a great place
Why am I watching truck review videos? why are you making it so interesting?
The L-Series will be perfect for an RV and will be fun to drive around the city.
Heard 'Swedish Bodybuilder' and zoned out for a second there :p
nice bus looking headlight
As someone who live in the USA and loves European trucks, I’ve never seen a L series and it is VERY LOW 😂 Nice vid 🔥
I remember this place from SCANIA Truck Driving Simulator. It's so cool to see it real-life through a video!
Very beauty full 360 hp wow
stanced truck is what we needed
Wow. What a great truck. Looks like it is meant to make life better for the driver.
I would love to see that place in person! What a dream come true it would be.
Great video
Cheeeeeers!
That hook on the back of the body is for when the driver wants to empty the skip. The hooks come up and grab the bar at the back of the skip, then when the arms go back, it tips the skip up and empties it.
Exactly this, it’s definitely not for dragging the skip up 😂
Taking speedbumps is a pain
down to earth kind of person
He's talking like jack and i love it
Nice video stavros ,with a nice scania. In the city it's very handy for the driver to get in and out .
I love stavros when he begins a review. "OOOOK!"
judging by the looks of it that's what jeremy clarkson would call a proper sports lorry
Laxo - The Swedish Bodybuilder😀
Scania Trucks are like Lexus'es in the truck market. They are reliable and very smooth :).
The center axle has a different tire profile because it's the drive axle.
Also trucks seem to be much better appointed in the EU than in north America. Sun roof, nice seats, easy access cab, ergonomic designs? You'll never see that on a fleet spec truck here.
And I haven't heard the term tachograph in a very long time.
This truck is baby yoda in trucks
Good looking scania better looking than the Mercedes low entry cab good video stavros ttfn
Oh it's so dinky and derpy I love it
the ideal truck for city
Just for your amazing Irish accent I'm subscribing. The content is also great.
It looks brilliant, it would do brilliant in a city.
I'm really liking that L280 and would want to see that here in the USA
Shadowz Edge
Scania need to be sold in the US soon!
Actually, I meant to say that I saw a new Actros in Limerick during the week & it had MirrorCam. Only looked because of your video 😊
Two videos in one weekend? madness! 😁
I'm glad i get to see you're making in depth reviews for Cat C trucks . 😁👌
Love Scania 💕
it was impressive it surprised me how low it was , please go back and test the scania bus and other scania beauties waiting to be driven :)
I thought this was photo shop😂 still cool tho
Yeah me too
Nice Stavros you are in my hometown:):) My grandfather use to work at Scania here😊
I've driven every now and then the previous generation P320 low entry refuse truck that our company has. I think it's an ex-demo truck from Scania with Allison automatic gearbox and all the bells and whistles.
It's a very nice truck to drive on level grounds, but... in practice you have to (usually many, many times a day) reverse and drive out of rather steep slopes up and/or down into people's yards. The front end is very prone to hitting the pavement, unless you lift the air suspension manually each and every time. And sometimes you don't realize how steep the transition is until it's too late.
Scania markets this truck for distribution and refuse trucks, but I'd personally rather have a regular P-series truck, thank you very much. And the regular P-series truck is a very agile and dependable tool indeed.
All Trucks should as low to the ground like the Scania L360 ... looks kind of sharp ... like a sports car ... I love it ...
that exhaust brake sounds way better than you would expect
i drive an actros 480 and mine sounds like some faint choking lawnmower

Its look very nice...!!! 🤔💭...🚛👌
Beautiful truck.
I love how low it is
1700nm of torque is absolutely crazy for a truck this size
If you want to take it home to Dublin you're going to have to do this route Gothenburg-Immingham -Humber Bridge-Liverpool. Humber Bridge to Liverpool is actually the A15 road & M62 motorway via Leeds Huddersfield Manchester areas. That way you save money and time rather than going through Dunkirk & Calais via Germany Denmark Belgium France route.
The low chassis very nice
12:10 training centre guy talking about working on weekends. Thats would be me lol!!
nice mini truck
I drive a 26t low cab Mercedes,I can't say I'm a fan of low cabs, mainly because of poor visibility up ahead as anything bigger than a car blocks your view,I think hi cabs just give all round better vision especially in an urban environmental where there's so much street furniture, signs, parked cars, hedges etc to obscure possible hazards.
You already know SCS are gonna watch this vid and add the truck in the game
Wow, electric leather seats, automatic windshield wipers and a lot of creature comforts in a WORK TRUCK! Specifications on that truck is luxury trims on 70 to 80 thousand dollar pickups here in the USA.
Actually things like that has been standard in sweden for many years!
Eyah baby!
Low&slow🤘🏻
As a skip driver in the UK, try taking this truck on a building site.. not a chance! Cool video tho.
Good video stav I like when ya travel to Sweden the track they have that place is cool, looking forward to the new flagship scania just for looks they really know how to make a nice truck also looking forward to the test drive keep it coming, go raibh maith agat.
They are actuaaly a nice truck

OOW POOR THING ITS SO CUTE HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT?
look like it has no mouth
It would be very interesting to see you drive one of those bus or coaches around the Scania track greetings from Australia 🇦🇺
Considering how many people buy cars based upon how little they ever need to bend their knees, Scania should take this concept, build rear seats and a big boot and then market it as an SUV.
Good afternoon from Slovakia.
It is sooo cute!!!!
this looks amazing, would be perfect for the US, we use Isuzu npr's for low cabs at my work, but this Scania with a box would be much better
Are European cabovers legal in the US?
driven thoose as a garbage truck and its not bad also got the kneeling function when i stop and put on handbrake
I love your accent! Greetings from Sweden

like a baby series xD
Looks nice
scania:lets make the best truck in the world.
car guys who love trucks:we need air suspension on that thing.
scania:say no more
What do you do if you come up to a bump in the road. I take it these have a feature to raise the susspension?
Great video again 👍 any chance of some coach reviews? Always wanted a good look over a coach.
Baby scania sweet.
The hook on the rear is to hold the skip to the body when tipping.
Love scania drive a xt at the moment but unfortunately they failed with this model making it a skip truck . It's designed for cities which it be great for why not make it a bin lorry as I use to do skips and could never get permits to leave skips in city centres and this vehicle definatley wouldn't get in any sites
That is slammed to the ground 😱
welcome to sweden stavros. i iive 10 - 11 swedish mil or 106 -110km from stockholm/södertälje
So beautiful
It's really amazing
Its a rear steering axle, that's why the tyres are like the front. Its not 6x4, its 6x2.
Nice...

Would expect to be seeing a lot of these in London soon. Much safer for cyclists. Would like to see a tipper body on one.
Looks cute
Why is this looking cute for me
Nice idea, but looks like a giant stepped on it and squeezed it together :-))
Aaawww, so cute scania child
that is literally a Scania S but without half of the cab. its cute
*F L A T T E N E D*
Am in love with it's lights on top the cab..I don't if it's Beacon lights
Looks cute:)
is that road meant for public too or it is specially made for testing trucks?
