Yes please do a video on how to look after your plants when not feeling great! Great plant haul two plants of my wishlist the frydek and the Hoya compacta. I would definitely added the extra to get the Thai con as it’s my favourite plant and the variegation on that one is gorgeous x
I’d love to see the when-you-want-to-care-for-your-plants-but-you-can’t video! Sounds like relatable unique content 💚 Also, great haul! Amazing how Thai’s are so common now they give them away for free lol
Oh! I wanted to add keep up with spider mite treatment on your Frydek. That’s why I lost mine. The spider mites just took it out. I did have a corm and it sprouted but again the spider mites love this plant. I actually had it in a cloche for a while and that’s the best it did was in the cloche. Maybe try that?!
I’ve had some mixed experiences with them, so it was cool to see someone else’s experience! 😄 I think you have a right to be miffed that that Hoya wasn’t longer btw 🙈 Love that Alocasia Frydek 😍
It was so nice to see a positive review on this store I've never ordered as I've only seen negative reviews. I've found the variegated frydek so much easier care then the green. My honest advice pot into stratum let it grow water roots then switch to semi-hydro. You could switch straight to pon but the stratum gives you a buffer especially if you're struggling a little at the moment. I have chronic pain / mobility issues so I try do whatever gives me and the plant the best chance. I'd love to see you do the video you mentioned as I often have times when energy just isn't available for plants, that's one of the reasons for 90% of my collection being in SH. Also that Thai was so beautiful 😍
Hey Amy! I have the bluestar fern and would welcome any suggestions. Mine is alive but I worry everyday 😂 and yes to a care video when one has no desire to care for anyone or anything 💆🏻
The Cyrtosperma johnstonii is gorgeous!! Do not let it dry out and keep it very warm. I would put it in semi-hydro and keep it some place very warm. Beautiful plants🖤🌸
Hey girly! Perfect timing! I’m cleaning the thrift store. I clean here once a week and I often find some awesome pots and vessels. Perks of the job! What a haul!! Yassss!!! I hope you have better luck than I did on my Frydek. Past tense because she didn’t make it lol. 😂 I love alos so much but they just hate me. I wish you the best week! I gotta get a video up too. It’s my July favorites but now we’re in August lol. I’m just so busy. Seriously my friend have an awesome week!
Great plant haul❤, iv had mixed experiences with plants of all seasons iv received dying plants, missing items from them and some riddled with spider mites loads of webbing. To be fair they did send out replacements but communication was slow, overall its taken 3 and a half weeks from original purchase day for me to receive everything i originally ordered.
Cyrtosperma Johnstonii do NOT like drying out at all! 💦💧👍🏻 Keeping soil hydrated, or even semi hydro could potentially be a good option. My baby plant is much smaller than yours and in a chunky soil mix, so I'm not sure on the semi hydro but I'd imagine it would be a good fit for that genus
When ordering online, ALWAYS go for the cheapest option. I've learn it the hard way, they are always going to scam you! Even better, don't order online, go to the garden centre, at least you can pick the specimen you like the best! 😉
When you are paying all that money you should get that plants you ordered.....they definitely sent you the cheaper version! Not impressed.....especially as that Hoya has a reputation for being a slow grower. A plant care video with you repotting, taking cuttings, showing updates, whatever would be very welcome....those are the sorts of vids I watch when having my breakfast!
I have had terrible experience with this company! Every time I had to chase them for my orders. Plants were poor quality and definitely not as good as advertised on the website!

One of my favorite places to buy plants in the UK

I have the Soligamiana- it’s been a more difficult one for me to grow as it doesn’t want to grow 😆 Buuuut it sunstresses BEAUTIFULLY 😍😍
