I was super excited to get this import from Aroid Market, but after the first time around this unboxing haul made me really anxious. I'm glad that I finally bit the bullet and imported several houseplants - which means, I'm now more confident in doing more plant importing.
Getting plants imported is scary. Plants can go through ALOT while traveling across the world. But, sometimes I could be your only option when it comes to getting your dream plant. Luckily for me, this import of rare plants worked out the second time around.
I still cant believe that I was able to check off several wishlist plants, in one unboxing 📦

Unboxings are fun because you get a genuine reaction. That’s definitely the case for all these plants. Almost cried when I saw the albo 🥹 you never know, you might get one someday 😊🌿

Imports are so exciting! It's like Christmas day for us planty people 💚
I have 3 Labisia varieties and find they appreciate warmth & humidity (+80%) and they do not like to dry out. I lost one because it I let it get too dry. I grow mine in pon in no drainage vessels with a small reservoir to keep the substrate hydrated at all times. Good luck with your new babies! Looking forward to seeing updates on them 😊

Hey Scott! Yay! I’m so excited for you! I just posted a video on my 2 week update with what I’ve been doing. But in short - I’ve placed them in water with SuperTHRIVE & Fishsh!t. I kept them in a humid environment 60%+ and changed out the water almost daily.
I've never done an import before, but I'd definitely consider it 🙂 I really like every plant 🌵 they sent you. The Albo is super awesome 👍 and I love the last plant you showed too...TFS 💕 I love all your excitement for the Albo. Plants are so beautiful and precious and make many of us very happy 😁

@@BotanicalBrunette Good question. I paid 120€ for a bushy high variegata with lots of fenestrations. For me it was worth it. May not be the case for someome else.

Why don’t you wait to see what those leaves do in water and super thrive and then trim them if you still need to
They were goners to be honest. I didn’t want the plant to put energy into saving those leaves vs growing roots. But I kept the green one to help photosynthesis
