"You're not going to break this material".... Ain't that the truth! Cudas, trout, snappers - none of them can bite the tail off. These baits are amazing in their longevity in fishing.
Try threading one of the ElaZtech lures onto the corkscrew keeper of an Owner weighted hook. It's near impossible. I haven't tried ZMan's specialized hook keeper yet.

We typically use 1/8oz. But you can change it up depending on the conditions.

Looks like a pain to rig but I bet the action is nice. The place I get my bait from has alot of Zman bait, but not these. Lol. Maybe they are just sold out all the time.

These Zman MinnowZ baits are def tougher than most others to rig, but they def stay on much longer too so many people believe that it's worth the front-end effort. And like everything, it gets easier and quicker with practice.

at 1:17 looks like a fish with broken back, I have caught fish with a lure like this, so don't necessarily throw them out
