At the very end, @16:26, it looks like they literally cut the railing away to make the drop. Must cost a fortune because you know they would have to fix it afterwards.
SICK LSD!!! Go for it BK!!! Party Boy is there!!! And yes that is Remy…he is in the lineup according to Redbull. Hope the track dries out! Gonna be a great race!
I'm so sorry it's raining sooo much exactly now that you guys are coming for an urban downhill race!! Hopefully it'll be dry tomorrow, can't wait to see you guys come down!!!
Even hookworms on that surface in the wet would have no chance the surface needs to be abrasive so the tires can find grip and sometimes it’s more about the grip than rolling fast what hookworms are made for plus there more of a street park tire compared to some these athletes with tire sponsors will have a full choice of tires for events
That slippery brick streets are more frightening than the tracks at Rampage. One false move and you suffer. No sandy berms to catch you. Just walls and bricks. Jeeez... 😑
Lol something as simple as a layer of industrial glue or paint mixed with grit painted onto the black plastic boards would have worked a treat.. no thought for the riders or possible weather conditions.. give me just 50k a year and pay for my travel and I'd make it so there are no set backs due to H&S of poor ramp surfaces, health and safety of the riders and no event set backs in this department... sheeesshhhh 1 job people!! 😂😂🤟🏻
Welcome in Genova! I can't describe how much I feel proud that my city was chosen for this event. Let's goooooo!

from a clueless roadie, killer! killer! content! thanks
I'll never understand why they don't use anti-slip paint on those boards...
it's grip paint used on boats etc
I hope it dries up man be a sick race if it was dry and no wind either

Is Blake racing this?
Living the dream!
"we gonna look the rest of the trackCIAOO"
Why run dirt tires on any hard surface ? Much less on wet pavement…why nobody tries a Maxxis Hookworm I’ll never know.
He runs conti and is sponsored so I don’t know if they have a similar tyre for the purpose
Even hookworms on that surface in the wet would have no chance the surface needs to be abrasive so the tires can find grip and sometimes it’s more about the grip than rolling fast what hookworms are made for plus there more of a street park tire compared to some these athletes with tire sponsors will have a full choice of tires for events
those conti's are the soft compound versions, so ought to be good on the dry streets
@@ADI121195 I’ve actually “tested” Hookworms on wet asphalt. And they grip better than any knobby.
@@RicardoPetrazzi exactly mate I don’t think there’s any tire that could grip on wet mossy cobbles and the surface the ramps are made of
Belin...!!!! Benvenuti!!!!
Numero uno
Maybe I missed it..why run dirt tires on the street? Wouldn’t the tread mane them slower rolling?
Like a sheet of ice.

Why didn’t they put sand in the pain on the boards?!?

I am so surprised that everyone is running dirt tires, nothing like BMX type of tires
I guess the staff from orthopeadic ward will be fully deployed tomorrow ...
id be coming up with a creative reason to not ride this track. maybe i hurt my wrist or something
Don"t ride
