This movie made the Batman/Bruce Wayne character more realistic. A number of fans did not like the more realistic Batman because it really limited the character from the comic. However this idea of the realistic superhero was what was needed in the fantasy space. Comics tend to be too fantastic and to make a movie with the hyper fantasy element tends to take the experience out for the regular viewer. This made Batman more accessible for the non comic fan as well as the long time comic fans.
Batman only appears to be realistic , he is in fact the most unrealistic superhero .
@@tomhardy2099 The talk of realistic is not about the character but more about the movie portray of the character. If you want me to talk about realism of characters in comics my first response would be no comic book character is realistic because these are fantasy tropes put out for popular consumption. The movies however try to make many characters seem realistic but its a movie and nothing is real in the movies.

That’s the problem with comic-heads is they’re expecting to see exactly the same they red on comic books and have no idea what’s and how the film industry works.
Batman is the most realistic superhero because at the end of the day Batman is a Undercover Detective Batman is a cop
I mean, I’d argue with enough money, access to materials and technology, and intelligence, Iron Man could be just as realistic. Granted, the technology that exist today wouldn’t be able to create an Iron Man suit, but it will one day. And at the end of the day, Tony Stark is just a man in a can.
Nah mate, this specific reaction was really amazing. The video was cut nicely at the right moments and idk how you got away with showing that much footage which was a cherry on top.

I've only seen one reaction from you in the past... I think. But I'm subbing because of a) the fact that you're reacting to The Dark Knight Trilogy; b) the great reaction in and of itself; and c) I just like both of you as people and reactors: lovely personalities, and y'all respect your audience enough to not talk TOO much and be a distraction, which let's you pay attention to the movie and not miss any important parts.

Man, yall were the first reaction channel I ever watched, back during Covid when yall were still doing the MCU, and I didn't realize until now how much I'd missed yall having new uploads. Rachel 'a bit much'? Bruce left for who knows how many years and the city that his dad basically built is knee deep in tyranny. When he comes back all she sees is him being a playboy, while she's been fighting (and risking her life trying to save Gotham) corruption and honoring Bruce's parents legacy. The last time she saw him he was going to kill someone, and now THIS is what he's become? You don't see that she is constantly setting him straight? She's the one who gave him the manifesto to thwart Ra's Al Gul and refuse to be an executioner. She's the hero in this movie.

54:54 when Lucius is describing the suit, he refers to it as a nomex survival suit. Nomex is the material that is used to make firefighters outfits and can withstand incredibly high temperatures and naked flames. The only reason Bruce doesn't have excruciating burns is because of that suit.

Man, y'all are on Rachel, yeesh! 😂 I feel you, it's tough break for Bruce. That said, I don't think she was wrong in the beginning to chastise him for almost murdering Chill. Bruce was a mess and that would have done nothing. I also like that he didn't just get the girl in the end. She had her reason, and it wasn't superficial. But true, hard to please... 😂 Love y'all.
I don't get their problem with Rachel at all. Bruce was a complete mess during the timeline when he returned to Gotham to go to Chill's trial and try to get revenge by killing him in cold blood. The irony is that Rachel was doing the SAME THING that Alfred was doing in telling him to get his act together and live up to his family name, yet not once did I see them chastising Alfred. Interesting! LOL

Batman Begins is highly underrated for me. I loved the backstory of Bruce Wayne aka “Batman” as to why he became Batman and his training etc. The entire cast was great including Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Katie Holmes, Morgan Freeman, Tom Wilkinson(RIP) etc. I love the entire Dark Knight trilogy and I’ll be looking forward to your reaction to The Dark Knight, Dark Knight Rises. I highly recommend reacting to the Saban's Power Rangers Movie from 2017. staring Ludi Lin who played Liu Kang in live-action Mortal Komat , Dacre Montgomery who played Billy in stranger things, Naomi Scott who played Jasmine in the live-action Aladdin movie, Bryan Cranston who played Walter White in Breaking Bad, and Elisabeth Banks who played Effie Trinket in The Hunger Games.
Batman is not one person, but we (general public of Gotham) are meant to think it's just him, that's how he can be seen as "supernatural" or not just a man in a cowl.
Some stuff in the comics can't be translated into live (Scarecrow, other characters or origins) but they tried to stay as true as much as they could.

Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark do have a lot of similarities, especially their primary superpowers: extreme wealth and genius intellect.
FYI - Batman has a number of other names in the comics: The Dark Knight, The Caped Crusader, The World’s Greatest Detective, and The Man Without Fear… the lattermost marking another strong Marvel parallel to Batman: Daredevil, who’s also known as being the man without fear and is a “normal” man (other than his super senses) who physically fights enemies and gets injured a lot, while wearing a costume that’s meant to scare criminals.
While this trilogy is original, don’t let anyone fool you into thinking the movie invented the “darker “ or “more realistic” Batman, as it takes inspiration on both fronts very heavily from comics that preceded it, including in this case the Batman: Year One graphic novel. Batman has had both dark/gritty and light/comic versions for a very long time.
I don't know how you got away with showing so much of this movie, but nicely done!
If only all the DC movies were the same quality as Nolan’s trilogy.

Batman has always been the coolest comic book character. He's not only a master of martial arts but he's also the World's Greatest Detective. Me personally I am not a fan of Batman in live action. DC heroes work better in animation they never get their characters right in live action. Animation in general is better than live action when it comes to superheroes. I highly recommend DC's animated shows and movies they are classics.

I agree with you guys, I absolutely hated Rachel in this movie. she’s the type of girl that no matter what you do you’re never good enough for her. This man is a billionaire, has a bunch of charities, and literally works with the police department to put criminals behind bars and clean up the city, and she’s like “nah, I know I told you it’s what you do that defines you, and you’re doing good, but uhh… still no.”
fun fact when christian bale did this movie he really skinny skeletion doing the machist preparing for batman gain weight and build muscle he got to big to fit in suit so he lost weight again.
