I have a MowRo. Lawn layout is massive. My mower has a tilt sensor that when it's triggered it stops mowing until it finds a good level. So I can't mow half of my backyard due to the slope. Still though... the half it does mow looks great!!
I have the Husqvarna 550 EPOS and I love it! I get a few errors from it every now and then but it’s usually because I have bad areas where my lawn meets concrete. Sometimes, the mower will get stuck on them because the lawn is lower than the concrete. Easy fix, honestly. I spent a lot on it but, I would have spent a similar amount of money for a nice reel mower. But, with the 550, I DON’T HAVE TO CUT IT! 😂
We need to talk about the most important thing in this video...those locks you have flowing! Great video and tips to consider. Keep on keeping on buddy!
Have a worx landroid right now in the backyard. Took much longer to get it setup and running 95% of the time but its done a decent job on my Emerald Zoysia. Im waiting for the pricing to come down on the GPS models before I invest in that. The landroid was $400 on ebay.
Once I fine tune my design the Luba will be able to go to 15mm but at that height the lawn will need to be very smooth. It performed well at 20mm on my unleveled lawn and at 25mm was awesome.
I tried the EcoFlow Blade. My bermudagrass destroyed two of them in about a month's time. Tech Services determined that my grass was too thick to cut with their mower. I admit it will bog down my battery rotary mower at times. How is your experience with Luba and bermudagrass? It was very nice while it worked.
I’m spending 50% of my time at either one of my two houses. I thought a robot for doing the lawn could be a solution for that. But sofar i haven’t seen any robot you can leave without supervision for 4 to 6 weeks. Any thoughts on this?
As long as my kids are not leaving things in the lawn the mower does fine unattended. Biggest issue would be trimming along edges along sidewalks and fences. I have left it and not set foot in my backyard for 2 weeks one time. The biggest hurdle is if you have a fence the mower won’t have a way through and you have to be there to manually open the gate.

Time for a project to remove that tilt sensor.

I run into issues around my trees in the back where it ventures off into the rocks. Not an issue unless I have my DIY fairway kit installed.

They are getting longer every day!!!
First Aussie 😁. Mike , I saved some money , I just walk like a robot when I mow and if anyone asks I’m just a robotic mower 😎
Hahahaha.

That’s a great price. For that much I would have multiple ones running at the same time. A little robot destruction derby in the backyard. 😂
The only robotic mowers that cut 1/2" or less seem to be the Husqvarna models that can use a Fairway kit.
As of now, this is correct.

how long will it last before needing to be replaced?
That one obstacle looks unacceptable. “Pound Town” can reek havoc on a lawn. Although the orange hoodie does add a splash of color.
That’s why a GPS mower with Lidar is useful

It has been awesome. As long as I don’t let the grass grow super tall and then then take it super short it handles Bermuda with no problems at all
SNAPPIN!

Nice T-Shirt, but I must disagree. SRAM is over priced compared to Shimano, so yeah nah. ;)
