Vandy actually wasn't ranked when they faced Auburn because they dropped out after a 3 point loss to Texas the week before. They regained their ranking after the Auburn win. What I still can't comprehend is that Vandy was a 7 or 8 point underdog to Auburn. Auburn is a bottom feeder in the SEC this year, while Vandy is in the top half of the SEC.

The craziest part is that the most points they gave up all season was 21 and it was to Georgia Southern out of all teams
