I just sold my MA2 last month and upgraded just the drone to the A2S. Easy upgrade and nice touches to have the better camera for low-light, slightly more solid connection with the OS3, and all my batteries and the controller just switched right over. I'm not what they'd call an early-adopter. So yes, very good equipment even in 2022.
On the pro drones you still need ND filters for sunny days. Not only because you have the best image somewhere at F5.6, but you also will still get an overexposed picture at F11 1/60 on sunny days.

If people on a budget, this is okay, but if you have the money get the Autel evo 2 v3. This has 12 sensors for obstacle avoidance, front, rear, top, bottom, sides.
I have the mini 2 and i’m about to upgrade to the air 2s (fly more combo). I want better video and picture quality so it should be a massive upgrade for me. Really excited about it,looking forward to get my hands on this drone 😎👍🏻

The Air 2S is the best drone available, in my opinion. Affordable, small but not tiny, powerful, fast, easy to fly and use etc etc etc. I will not swop mine for any other drone.
Great video! More relevant info than most other videos. Would you suggest this over the mini 3 pro? I don't want to have to worry about registering my drone. But I've heard a lot of people complaing about having to constantly update the mini 3 and problems of losing connection with the drone. Also if I'm seeing it correctly, the controls are above the screen if you get the mini 3 controller with built in screen. I don't think I would like the controls above the screen and I'm not sure if you could change that. Just curious which one you would choose if you could pick either one. Thanks.
The only reason I’m envious of mini 3 owners is because they can bring the drone abroad and pretty much fly anywhere. I think both have a similar level of quality and I love the portrait video so it’s a difficult one honestly.

Why don’t you want to register your drone? It’s $5, that’s it, Nothing less, Nothing more. The whole not having to register your drone is nothing more than a marketing ploy put forth by the manufacturer, something that DJI is experts at... I use to think that I wouldn’t like the sticks on the top either, but the truth of the matter is, it’s more important to me that I have an intergraded monitor, and stick location is something you just get use to. You want to know the biggest advantage of the Air2S over the mini? It’s tolerance to wind. A bigger drone will always be the most capable in higher winds. I have owned a total of 8 different prosumer grade drones that DJI has produced since the Phantom 1 and the Air2S is one of my all time favorites.

If you purchased a mini over anything else just to save yourself $5, you fell for it! I bought the first Phantom ever made, and 7 more drones since then from DJI, and I can assure you that everything they do, is an attempt to get as much money out of our pockets as they possibly can before they release the next best thing. Do you think that we should have an integrated screen on the Air2S like the mini, a less expensive drone? Of course you do. And it wouldn’t had cost DJI any more money to include it on the Air2S than it did the mini! They’re just holding out to take our money! And Unfortunately, we continue to give it to them..,
I am still waiting for the RC firmware update to work with my air2s I don’t get why they put the Mavic 3 and not the air2s Why didn’t they bring it out at the same time the buggers
For legality reasons, size and price then I would say technically yes. But the Air2s definitely handles better in wind and is a more powerful drone in general. Also it has a larger sensor so for low light video it’s definitely got a big advantage
@@MattRobbPhoto It depends on what you need your drone for. For me, I sold my Air2S and got the Mini3Pro and didn't have any regrets. Vertical Video, Quietest drone ever. If I go to other countries, I dont have to register my drone since it's under 250gms and the list goes on. Mini3Pro all the way!

It will not perform a banking turn for even the best drone pilots on earth. The Phantom 4 could perform banking turns, as well as the inspire, which flies better than any other DJI drone ever made, but also the Mavic 2 Pro, and Air2S will perform banking turns. DJI stepped backwards on the Mavic 3 when it comes to flight performance. The inspire still holds the number 1 spot for professional video/cinematography.
With you 100%. For the money, even with the new Mini, this is still the best way to go.

DJI have got too work on a longer lasting flight time battery like they did with the DJI Mini 3
The batteries are so expensive as well honestly so yeah a longer flight on 1 battery would be good

I think Air 3 will have adjustable aperture, the price point for combo set though will be almost the base price of Mavic 3.
The mavic 3 common is £2400 so here it’s £1000 more
