Great pitching effort from Max Fried today carrying a no hitter past 7 innings, Jimenez made it 8 and Iglesias blew the no no in the 9th but still shut the door giving the Braves the series win and hopefully the sweep tomorrow night, the Braves are going to have some big money decisions coming up this off season with Fried, Ozuna and Morton's contracts expiring after this season, it'll be interesting to see what happens, anyway Elders on the mound tomorrow so anything can happen so fasten your seat belts, GO BRAVES!!!!!!!!!!
I was at the game and one of my friends said at the start of the bottom 9 watch JD Martinez hit a solo homer and of course he did to break up the no hitter

As a Met fan, breaking the no hitter while still losing the game and series doesn't bring any joy. It's a shame that they couldn't hit all game with that lineup. Braves still the better team.

I would keep Nimmo and Marte. Alonso and Mcneil need to prove their worth or there's no reason for them to be here. Get rid of Narvaez while you're at it.

Braves pitching was dominating and was quite close for the no hitter
So close to the no hitter but still a great win. Unbelievable outing for Fried, 7 innings of no hit baseball. Just absolutely outstanding outing from him. Good work from the bullpen, jimenez and then iglesias who was so close to making history but it’s alright. Offense had a decent game, Arcia homered. Great game though from michael, he was outstanding today with 3 hits but also some great defensive plays. That secures the series win though, elder on the mound looking for the series sweep. Let’s go braves #ForTheA

+ MAX FRIED WAS SENSATIONAL! 7 NO-HIT INNINGS, Allowing Just 3 Walks while Striking Out 5 and Earning the WIN! Fried Improves to 3-1 with an ERA of 3.57! Just needed to sort out some Kinks in April, but he's been EXCELLENT SINCE!
+ Bullpen did EVERYTHING they could to get the Combined No-Hitter, but it took a DESPARATE SWING from J.D. Martinez to Shatter It. Jimenez Allowed Two Walks in the 8th, But Struck Out 2 to escape, while Iglesias Allowed 1 Run on 2 Hits, Walking 1 and Striking Out 1. Still, It was enough to earn the Win!
ROTATION TOTAL: 9 Innings, 1 Run, 2 Hits, 6 Walks, 8 Strike Outs, 1 Home Run Allowed.

+ Orlando Arcia JUMP-STARTED the Offense with 2-Run SUPER MISSILE DOWN THE LEFT FIELD LINE in the 3rd! That would be his only hit, as he finished 1-3, Adding a Walk Later On! Arcia Stands in with a .263 Average, .725 OPS, and 4 Home Runs on the Season!
+ WHAT A DAY FOR MONEY MIKE! He SHATTERS a 0-29 by going 3-3 with Three Singles, a WHACKED-BY-PITCH, and an RBI! Harris Steps up to a .264 Average with an OPS of .685!
+ Not the Best Day from the Current MVP, but he DID earn a CRITICAL RBI in the 9th via a Walk, Finishing 0-4. Acuna Holds Firm with a .252 Average and .716 OPS.

Met fan here. We still lost and it's one more game behind in the standings. Plus, with our lineup, getting no hit for almost the entire game is pretty embarrassing.

Ronald Acuna is the most overrated player ever, the guy is batting only .252 10 rbi and 3 home runs, he had a career year last season, did it with bigger bases and pitchers not allowed to throw to first and a pitch clock. Some delusional Brave nut were camparing the overrated Acuna to the great Rickey Henderson.
