Worked for an oyster company that had a pete 579 that had a paccar that ate the fuel pump. Had to have the whole motor rebuilt. Thankfully company truck. Company ended up putting about 14k into having the motor rebuilt. Will never drive one with a paccar again. Lol

When the time comes, I always choose to obtain financing directly from a truck dealership or save up to buy a truck outright. In a lease purchase from a trucking company, drivers end up paying for the company's financed trucks and equipment. Legally, drivers do not own the trucks as their names are not on the finance documents with the bank, leaving them with no legal recourse. The company retains ownership and can take the truck away from the driver at any time, without the driver having any say. Both owner-operators and lease purchase drivers rely on the same truck company for work and pay rent to the company. The company often keeps the high-paying loads for themselves and even skims money off the loads before passing them on to the driver. Numerous scammers operate within this industry. Trucking companies aim to have zero expenses by making someone else pay for everything, including the trucks, trailers, insurance, regulatory paperwork, and operating expenses. They lure people with dreams of owning their own truck company, using deceptive advertising to draw them in. However, in the end, the truck company disappears with the driver's money, while the drivers pay off all the expenses for their trucks, insurance, and other costs throughout their employment. Lease purchase is for fools. In my opinion, smart individuals with common sense should buy a truck. If they don't have enough savings, they can finance directly with a bank, truck dealer, or other financial brokers.
You are mutha freaking right. Lease is a big scam (relatively speaking) which is the reason why my intent was/is to never own through leasing 5 years. Also agree about the International as far as previous years HOWEVER.........in the recent years that thing has came a long way and also gets better fuel mileage than the other trucks in its class.

@Trucking with HoodChef They don't idle either. Mine has idle shutdown and no apu. So I burn up and freeze more often than not when sitting. Best part is, you can't have a shop turn it off. Have to have an "approved" shop do it. That came from the lease company ego goes through.
@@HoodChefTV1 Negative, this freightliner will NOT idle man. I can idle up to the limit, release trailer or truck brakes while other isn't, and I've tried hanging a weight on the trailer brake T handle I have. Nothing works at all. It is saving me money in the end, so it's not a huge deal. Would be nice to be in control of my ship though lol.
I know a Lady Driver who worked for Super Ego and went slap broke.. sitting on weekends and no dispatch on the weekends.. she owe more than she made..

Do the trucks have inverters? And if not will they put mine in for me?
Most trucks are bare bones. No inverter, No apu, some may have a fridge
