I’ve not used the Swissvax Shield wax before, but I used another Swissvax wax from their range. Absolutely incredible results. I will be trying Swissvax Shield next time for sure.. I’d agree, very expensive, but worth every inch of shine.. 😊😊

Another experience with one end of the market and the other yes suppose if you can afford the price tag then go for it but that’s why you do these videos to show the differences if any are there and there was …looks like you had a cracking time enjoying your experiences
Cheers buddy. I believe it was Korrosol that killed the DSW as normally I get 3 months plus out of that wax. Albeit a rough and ready test, it does have value. The Swissvax was a pleasure to use and definitely stood up well.
I’m a huge fan of SwissVax Shield. Hands down the most enjoyable wax I have used. 5⭐️
Personally I have a ceramic coating however if ceramics aren’t your thing… Shield would be the best wax I would recommend

That’s a really interesting video. I did think that DSW would last a bit longer than two washes though, so that’s the equivalent of only a month or so!
I was surprised with the test as well. DSW is a great wax that usually gives a lot more longevity of protection but in this test it just died. I'm going to order another pot and see if the pot I ha e is rougue.
Its a good wax,as with all swisswax waxes,its lovely to use
In terms of a 'wet look' and beading,id put infinity wax graphene wax ahead of it.
You cant beat soft 99 fusso wax (original) for durability mind

I‘m boggled by the results of your test, as it‘s pretty much the complete opposite if what I experienced with Shield (or Endurance, or Utopia, for that matter). 😮

Soft 99 or collinite is the way to go

I would love to. I'm currently doing a series of wax reviews for my TH-cam and Facebook channels. Very happy to do a dedicated review for Carat. I think people who watch my channel would love to see a high end wax being tested.
Is this now a trend to apply a PTFE wax with bare hands? Quite apart from the solvents it contains, I would never touch waxes with dissolved polytetrafluoroethylene with bare hands, as the long-term consequences are unforeseeable.
Nice video guys. Side by side comparisons certainly don't lie. I'm currently using Touch-on (and auto qd) over DSW and can make it last 6 months. Technically cheating?

£170 though! How does this compare to something like the sinergy 2 used in the last video?
Thanks for watching buddy. Hard to compare as Synergy 2 is a ceramic coating and Shield is a wax. I find the main difference aesthetically is that the wax gives a warmer depth of gloss and looks more natural. The Ceramic of course will last longer and give better longevity and protection but it'd appearance looks more clinical and not as warm.
