    Just a quick note
    if you are in 4.1 it seems something changed with the curve to points to where it may show multiple leaves instead of just 1. If this happens just add a (Realize geometry) node right before the (curve to points) node, this should give you the correct number you type in to curve to points

      Thank you! I had this problem in Blender 4.1 and add the node "Realize Instances" and worked like a charm!

    WOW at those initial animations you did for the other fruits....it loooks so damn good like a fantastical animation that was taken from an amazing advertisement or something and to think this was created via a free program (Blender that is) then it's even more impressive and unbelievable !

    I've seen a couple of videos where people do a dot product vector check (not sure how to call it, not good with math) to have objects not clipping into another one/moving them outside of an object. I'm not smart enough to know if that could be applied to the grapes in some way but I guess it would make the branching a bit more complicated. Anyway, great video, looks fantastic.

  • @artorianproductions

    Everything works great for me doing flowers instead of grapes, but when I try to use the color ramp to control the branches, it doesn't cut down the branches one by one, it just deletes them all after i go past .5 with the black marker on the color ramp, and having the noise texture doesn't seem to change anything (in blender 4.1)

    • @artorianproductions
      @artorianproductions 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Never Mind found a solution, plug an endpoint selection into the instance on points that brings everything together, allows you to control the amount of branches you have

    24:17 i did not understand that part, i k it's an old file but trying to follow up is just confusing tbh. Why I preview between the Bezier segment and Curve to Mesh that is the same result?
    But you are different that the Bezier segment position is orignal lay on the X axie.

    Hi Cheuqs, ik you must be busy but i have a question about mixing geo and particles. So i have a tree model (geo nodes branches and leaves) and i want to use that model as hair particles over a terrain (like spread it around plane), but whenever i tried to, it just shows the tree body mesh and not the branches and leaves (node). How should I approach this? If you could any day provide me a way how to get it done, I'd be really grateful to you. I already am with this work and I'm trying to extend my knowledge around instancing and particles so j can make my scenes a little better. I have dumped that idea for/till when i do learn the actual way and right now i have got a full body mesh of a tree model which comes with a problem by itself when trying to animate the leaves, with the geo i could move the instances easily but hard with the work around method. Thankful. 🍻🍖

    • @cheuqs
      @cheuqs  ปีที่แล้ว

      Im not too sure with hair particle placement as i haven't done too much in it, I would recommend scattering them through geo nodes there's a bunch of simple tutorials on scattering but if the whole tree still doesn't show id maybe try to add a realize instance node to each part of the tree geometry nodes, It will make the scene laggy but is needed in some situations
