- La segunda generación de este todoterreno está en venta desde mediados de 2017 y ocupa el lugar del anterior Compass, un vehículo que estuvo disponible entre 2007 y 2014. Su precio parte de 25 800 euros, que es lo que cuesta la versión de gasolina de 140 CV con cambio manual y tracción en las ruedas delanteras .
Mide 4,39 metros de longitud, por lo que se sitúa en la gama Jeep a medio camino entre un Renegade y un Cherokee. Por tamaño y tipo de carrocería, es una alternativa a modelos como el Kia Sportage, el SEAT Ateca, el Renault Kadjar, el Peugeot 3008 o el Nissan Qashqai. Algo que le diferencia es que la versión Trailhawk puede tener unas mejores aptitudes todoterreno que cualquiera de los modelos citados para circular por zonas sin asfaltar.

I have one of these. My first SUV after a long line of mid-size sedans. Although it feels safe to drive, I was always worried with its behavior on an emergency manouver. Now I can be sure it's safe, better than most sedans and even some sportcars...

Thanx, I was looking forward for this review. I`m interested on the new Jeep Compass, but I was unsure about its safety characteristics, due to bad behavior from its big brother Jeep Grand Cherokee. Now I feel piece of mind, Jeep Compass is an all around good car. It performs well on road and exceeds offroad.
Proud owner Jeep.. It's the best personality for a SUV keeping performance n safety at best!

I like your test km77 but I would do some steps for get more information:
-entry speed and output speed.
Would be very helpful to see how much the electronic brake the car, how much the electronic control the car.
-Pedals camera view.
To see if driver use brake.
-Steering wheel view
To see how the driver react.
-Same tyres.
This is more difficult but not impossible. With same tyres (for the same class of vehicle) the speed would be not influenced from the tyres.
I know is not important the speed but the reaction of the vehicle like in this Jeep that has a good reaction.
For example in this case...
Entry speed:79 km/h
Output speed:46 km/h
Difference:33 km/h
So the car electronic braked this speed but it was very clean in the reaction.
These things would make your video also more professional than now.

Because Audi concentrate on soft feel interior plastics and cheapen the chassis so they can share them with Skoda and still make profit.

Se ve que se pisa el freno despues de la primera esquiva por eso se comporto bien,si se fijan en los demas videos no se frena en las esquivas hasta el final de la prueba
Alfredo Santos que las luces de freno se enciendan no indica en este caso que el conductor haya tocado el freno. Lo hacen otros muchos coches (la mayor parte de las veces con un parpadeo rápido de estas luces) cuando el control de estabilidad interviene.
Te ha quedado claro? Cuando los sistemas desaceleran el vehículo,se activa la señal luminosa, si no el que viene por detrás, en un caso en carretera abierta con más usuarios, no lo vería.

in fact we go through this every day especially in india , consider the cone as pedestrian ,bikes , dogs ,cows ,diversion boards ,pot holes .
So how can you call this trail rated when you can not even get a real trail tire for it? Don't get much response from jeep. they just say we will void your warranty if you put a bigger tire on it. 1500 miles on my 2018 trailhawk and I am ready to get rid of it. This CAR is for trail rides.......Paved bicycle trails.

Mario it's the job of the ESP, it works by braking in the most efficient way every single wheel, in order to keep you in lane. I think that it doesn't matter if the car slows down during the change of direction, it was able to avoid the "moose" when approaching at 79kmh
Michele Bicc. No, the job of the ESP os not braking but to lead the car to the side required by the driver, by using the brakes. Anyway, It decreases the speed a Lot, in orther to not to overturn this so high gravity center vehicle.
