- Come on a night walking tour of Downtown Reno, Nevada. Reno is a city located in the northwest region of the state of Nevada and about 22 miles (35 km) away from Lake Tahoe. Reno has a population of about 264,000 and is known as the "The Biggest Little City in the World." Reno is known for its casinos and tourism, but it is changing into a technology center with many tech companies moving into the region. Come on a night walk with me from the Truckee River passing the Reno Arch and around the casinos. Some of the casinos in the Downtown area are Club Cal Neva, Eldorado Reno Resort Casino, Silver Legacy Resort Casino, and Circus Circus Reno.

Wow no homeless… very beautiful and they really cleaned up… I remember that place being packed in the 90s and early 2000s… I hope this place can one day return back to its prime

Shutting down the cruise of beautiful classic cars early on saturday night? Reno just keeps shooting itself in the foot. The friday night cruise on virginia st in the 80s was epic.
Yeah, it would have been nice if they just patrolled and let the cruise finish.

Reno is beautiful last time I was there was in 2001. I hope it stays that way here in Vancouver BC it’s a crowded mess with over 3 million people.
I miss the old Reno. It was so lively.
@@nomadicmonkey Reno is a perfect size not to big and not to small. Traffic is still light. Here in Vancouver bc it’s all day everyday every part of the city, and the friendliness for most part is gone.
Yeah, that’s true. It is growing, but still pretty small.

Reno's casino's scene is not what it used to be! miss all those 'little local ones like the peppermill the horseshoe and many more! the only surviving one of the bunch! 'The Club Cal -Neva! is the only one left.
