You had plenty of Delta V for your return, you just needed to decelerate at your Kerbin apogee/apoapsis. Not accelerate "at" Kerbin. I would also recommend using lighter engines on your lander setup on the Mun to save some mass. And shed the empty tanks before you leave the surface of the Mun. Next time big dog.
This is a pretty great video, i was like this at the beginning aswell, except i never landed on the moon till 200 hours in to playing the game (was mainly goofing with jets and planes and stuff) if i can suggest anything is you have more than enough delta v in your craft to go and come back from the moon, there is just a couple of parts that are off about the launch, and the actual maneuver to the moon. i can link you to a great youtube video i used to learn if it can help? otherwise though great video!
