Exactly! Im 39 and I grew up with her being one of my favorite singers because of my mom and grandmother. I love the way singers would have a conversation that introduced a song. They were eloquent, my family enforced this in me as well. Im so grateful to have been introduced to her music. Whitney was a showman in this way and I truly miss that.
She was a story teller through song. You imagined the story in your head.
