I've owned mine for about ten yrs or so,also in the mag! It really is a fine rifle, very accurate & crisp...........& pricey! You pay for what good quality, the wood chucks don't stand a chance. Oh I also have a leupold 2x7 rim fire scope
Honestly the best bolt action rimfire ever made. It was just expensive so it's being replaced by a cheaply made substitute, but these days the new generation 8f shooters doesn't know the difference. 👍

Always bore sight a new gun scope combo to get scope barrel on same axis .
I have a late model, glass stock. I redid the sear and spring and it shoots fantastic.
Where did you find this brand new in 2021 ?

I own one with the standard stock.
I also own a Winchester 52 sporter , Winchester is better in my opinion.

Volquartsen sear did wonders for my 77/357 trigger. What scope do you have on it. Looks like a good size for the rifle.
Excuses for buying a gun or two. "Darn, I've got some money in my pocket "
" Its an investment " etc.
Not the brightest penny in the roll, are you?
