Thanks for you review! I think it helps me to choose! Well I’m not a professional photographer but I just would like a digital camera which takes different photos than my iPhone 13. You know I want some vintage vibes like in 2000’s. So my question is : this Panasonic TZ40 can offer this vintage photos? According to your video and your examples taken I think yes it can be worth it to use today to have this vintage photos vibes, right ? Thank you for your response! :)
Thanks for your kind words. I put a lot of effort into this video and I'm glad you enjoyed it! Smart phone cameras have come a long way in the last 10 years. It used to be the case that these compact cameras were better than smartphones, but with the likes of Apple, Samsung and Google producing cameras that are so good, personally I would use your iPhone 13. But a full frame DSLR should still be better like a Sony A7iv or A9 paticularly in low light, plus DSLR's have much larger sensor sizes which can produce natural looking depth of field instead of software portraits like on smartphones. If your really looking for a vintage look i would go older pre 2012! Hope this helps
My current phone is the samsung s24 ultra, and I love the camera. Also, have a canon rebel t7 and a lumix zs40, a big reason i went with the lumix is that you can transfer photos to your phone. And also price!!The app is outdated but it works. Haven't had it for a week so I haven't taken very many photos. But pictures look nice. Every phone now uses too much AI for pictures that are zoomed in. Looks like an oil painting. That why i bought a point and shoot. More natural looking photos. Either way its fun to shoot.
Yes I agree the camera on the S24 ultra is amazing. Yes the Tz40 like your ZS40 has that feature too! Yes smartphone cameras today use a lot of software to create a good looking image, particulary portrait photos use software to create depth of field where as DSLR's can create a more natural looking depth of field.
Thanks for the support on this video, truly means the world to me!
