They sent me the wrong harness to begin with. They sent me the one that hooks up to the existing connector which this car did not have. I got the right one and installed it no problem thanks to the help of your video. But I’ve got no lights coming on on the trailer. What would cause this? The manufacturer curt claims that they test the harness underload before they ship them. I found one frayed wire on the trailer, but would one frayed wire prevent all of the lights from coming on?

Hello, I did tried to find way around to run wiring from inside but Curt wiring harness is designed to run from outside and it's much easier from outside then inside.

Where is the connector wire? Where did you mount it? You did not show where the connector is mounted to receive the the electrical from the trailer.

it mounts at hole for fastening safety chains of trailer.

@@NorthUbuild you mean it mounts under the bumper next to the receiver? You should show where it mounts exactly next to the receiver for a complete job🙂

It’s a tow bar. Why do you need power.

It's legally required to have a turn signal and break lights on the trailer so this harness provides this signal to the system of the trailer.

Ok, nice but very complicated, you know you can purchase a kit you only have to connect to the connector on the left side under the Tucson ? Check the CURT 56420... Stil, nice video.
