Here's an experiences we've had with our own insurance company (State Farm). Our parked car was hit by others that were involved in an accident. Did some damage to our car. Our insurance sent us a letter stating they would pay for damages over our deductible. We had to push back and remind them, whoever was at fault, it definitely was not us, because we were not even in the car. They paid in full. Then they sent a letter stating their lawyer fees would be deducted trying to recoup their losses against those at fault. We pushed back again. Their lawyer fees are what we pay for already. They state, Oh sorry was our mistake. If you feel your insurance company is not servicing you or trying to get out of their obligations, politely state your case and stand your ground. Sometimes you've got to speak up and push back.
Hello, I just got into an accident at the other’s persons fault, have police report and everything but I talked to the agent today and he said their insurance is basic same as mine, I only have liability so it won’t cover anything, their insurance covers up to $5000 in damage counting the towing and anything else that might come up they deduct it from the $5000, that’s not enough to cover my car, my car costs more than that. If it’s a total loss what do I do? TIA
Since you don’t have collision coverage and I assume no underinsured motorist property damage coverage, You’ll likely have to take them to court. If the difference isn’t that much, it would be small claims court otherwise you’ll have to go after the at fault party directly.

I had a motorcycle accident, I was riding on a back road in the mountains, a Bob Cat jumped in front of me, swerved to avoid the animal but ended up losing control of the motorcycle and crashed, just damages to my vehicle and my person, my insurance says that I'm at fault because I didn't hit the animal and killed to sent proof of that, so what's your thought about their decision?
It’s weird but whenever you swerve to avoid an accident, you likely lose control and in turn change a comprehensive(if it’s an animal) claim into an at-fault claim.
My insurance company dropped me because they said I had too many claims, all were roadside service now insurance companies want over one hundred dollars for just liability coverage 😑 😒
